Despite not competing in the VCT 2022 - North America Last Chance Qualifier nor the VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul, T1 have signed Joseph Seungmin "ban" Oh from the Pittsburgh Knights. They have also parted ways with Josh "pwny" VanGorder and dynamic.

T1 had an unlucky season as they failed to get past the Open Qualifiers in the second stage. First, they fell down against NYFU in VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 2 - Open Qualifier 1. Secondly, it was VIRTUOSO who pushed T1 out of the race in VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 2 - Open Qualifier 2. The team will not participate in VALORANT Champions 2022 and they are also not competing in the Last Chance Qualifier. It is not clear whether the T1 organization will clinch a spot in the upcoming league format but the team strengthened its roster by picking up Joseph Seungmin "ban" Oh.

Ban has played 31 maps in the last three months under the Pittsburgh Knights jersey. He held a 1.14 rating during that time and a 1.12 K/D on top. Ban picked Jett 11 times and Chamber 10 times. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Knights roster that took down Akrew in the NSG Summer Champs - Online Open 12 Grand Finals. With Ban's arrival, T1 have also parted ways with pwny and the substitute player dynamic.

The current T1 roster is:

United States Zander "thwifo" Kim Canada Joshua "steel" Nissan South Korea Son "xeta" Seon-ho South Korea Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom United States Joseph Seungmin "ban" Oh

Canada Dallas "Branchies" Branch (Manager) South Korea Yoon "Autumn" Eu-ddeum (Head Coach) United States Dakota "Stunner" MacLeod (Assistant Coach)
