VCT Ascension Americas: Schedule, Location, Teams, and more

Riot Games has finally announced all the details regarding the upcoming VCT 2023 - Challengers Ascension: AMERICAS, scheduled from June 30 to July 9. Six teams across the Americas will represent their region and fight for the only spot to qualify for the VCT Americas League 2024. VCT Ascension Americas will be an offline LAN event that will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The tournament will be held at the VALORANT Challengers Brazil studio from June 30 - July 5, 2023, and on July 8 - July 9, 2023, fans can witness the clash between the remaining teams at Pavilhão Pacaembu, one the largest and most iconic sports stadiums in São Paulo. Tickets will be on sale from Tuesday, May 30, 2023, through the Ticket 360 platform. Make sure to pre-register yourself on the platform to purchase the tickets at the earliest and keep an eye on the VCT Americas social media for more updates.

The six participating teams are yet to be decided based on their performance in the Challengers League in their respective regions. Two teams from North America, Latin America, and Brazil will be fighting against each other to secure their spot in VCT Americas League 2024.

These six teams will be divided into two different groups of three teams each. The first round will be a single round-robin, and the top teams from each group will directly qualify for the second round, which will be a double-elimination bracket. At the same time, the runners-up from each group will face each other for the third spot. All the matches will be a Best of Three (BO3) match, apart from the Grand Final, which will be a Best of Five (BO5) match.
