As the Lower Bracket Final is over, the finalists of VCT 2022 - Oceania - Stage 1 - Main Event are set now. ORDER, and Bonkers are going to compete against each other for a chance to represent Oceania at VCT 2022 - APAC Challengers.

ORDER

One of the region's most popular esports organisations, ORDER, made it to the finals without dropping a single game both during the group stage and playoffs. Luckily, we have already seen them compete against their final opponent, Bonkers. After reaching the playoffs, they eliminated MEOW MEOW, Honey Badgers, and Iconic, respectively. ORDER seemed confident and strong compared to other teams in the region. In the upper bracket final, they secured two easy wins on Icebox and Bind against Iconic, both maps ending 13-8. Cameron "disk0" Mac and Elvin "Maple" Sun stepped up during the final and carried their teams in both games.

However, ORDER’s Jett player, Kale "autumn" Dunne, has struggled in some games during the tournament. Especially, his performances against Honey Badgers were definitely under his calibre which still resulted in a 2-1 win for the side of ORDER.

ORDER’s roster is as follows:

Australia Kale "autumn" Dunne Australia Cameron "disk0" Mac Australia Tyler "tucks" Reilly Australia Matthew "Texta" O'Rourke Australia Elvin "Maple" Sun

Bonkers

Despite ORDER’s popularity and such, Bonkers are the underdogs that have managed to reach the final stage by grinding their way from the lower bracket. After ending the group stage right behind ORDER, they faced a hard loss against Iconic and continued their journey from the lower bracket. They picked up wins against Crimas Disciples, Honey Badgers, and funcrew before meeting Iconic for revenge in the lower bracket final. This time, the underdogs completed what they had started and pulled out a 2-0 win, demolishing their opponents with 13-3 on Bind and 13-7 on Fracture. Riley "rDeeW" Wilkinson had magnificent Chamber and Cypher performances, ending the series with a 1.33 rating and 1.71 K/D. Following him on the chart, Chris "NiceHacks" Wahle contributed to his team by supporting them with firepower, reaching 287 ACS with Raze and Neon in the series.

Bonkers’ roster includes:

Australia Jackson "Minimise" White Australia Justin "skrawl" Lanzon Australia Nick "tixx" Quinn Australia Riley "rDeeW" Wilkinson Australia Chris "NiceHacks" Wahle

The ORDER vs Bonkers final will be played on February 20 at 3:00 am CET. You can find more information on the events page.
