Fnatic have signed Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit to be their new head coach for the upcoming season. The Australian coach recently parted ways with the Pacific League representatives Gen.G Esports and he will now fill mini’s shoes, who recently left the European organization.

Fnatic have been competing in the highest division since they acquired SUMN FC’s roster, which also included the head coach mini. The organization competed both regionally and internationally with mini until the end of last year, and the English coach left the organization this offseason as he was “in search for a better work-life balance.” mini was one of the most important piece of Fnatic as even though the majority of the roster changed, he always led the new players to glory. Elmapuddy will replace his position as the new Fnatic head coach, according to the latest announcement.

Second team, third region for Elmapuddy

Elmapuddy’s VALORANT career started with Gen.G Esports back in 2021. Back then the organization used to compete in the North American VALORANT scene but then moved to Asia at the beginning of this year. Gen.G had a smooth transition as Elmapuddy followed the organization to the Pacific League. Last year Gen.G placed fourth in VCT 2023 Pacific League and third in VCT 2023 Pacific League Last Chance Qualifier. Fnatic will be Elmapuddy’s second team and third different region in his career. The Australian coach had regional and international experience in his career and he will now carry his knowledge to EMEA and fight for Fnatic’s success.
