Format, Qualified Teams and Schedule for VCT Last Chance Qualifiers

Just as the audience was on the verge of retiring from the exhilaration they experienced at VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík, Riot has decided to bless the community with a series of Last Chance Qualifiers throughout major regions to finalize the participants for VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul.

Format:

Securing a spot at Masters Reykjavik coupled with fascinating performances during Stage 1 earned both XSET and OpTic Gaming a direct invitation to Istanbul. However, NA has three designated seats at the event and the final team to qualify will be decided in the upcoming event. The event will commence on 4th August and will play out in a conventional Double Elimination bracket with the Grand Finals being conducted on the 14th.

Spots for the event were granted to teams with the most VCT Circuit Points after OpTic Gaming and XSET, which resulted in the following participant pool:
