Shortly after cutting ties with Acend, Vladyslav "kiles" Shvets has joined GIANTX to compete in the Spain: Rising league.

Despite forming one of the best rosters on paper to qualify for VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event, Giants never met the expectations and got eliminated in both qualifiers. They still participated in VRL - Spain: Rising - Stage 1 - Main Event to win the tournament and have another chance for the EMEA event. The Spanish esports organization managed to grab seven wins in the regular season to lock the first place in the standings but couldn’t quite show their strengths during playoffs. Case Esports pulled out a surprising win to reach the grand finals. As the first stage came to an end, Giants made the first roster move.

Vladyslav "kiles" Shvets has lived every other professional player’s dream last year by lifting the VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 trophy. The Ukrainian player’s trophy museum doesn’t end with the VALORANT Champions trophy as he also won countless regional tournaments, including VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Europe Masters. He is known for playing Cypher, Killjoy, and Viper mostly but you could also see him picking Reyna when needed. Kiles holds a 0.96 rating, 197.5 ACS, and a 1.05 K/D since the beginning of his career.

Giants’ roster after Kiles’ arrival is:

Spain Adolfo "Fit1nho" Gallego Turkey Batuhan "russ" Malgac Czech Republic Adam "Jesse" Čtvrtníček Spain Fabian "Quick" Pereira Ukraine Vladyslav "kiles" Shvets
