Leading by Example: Top VALORANT players in each VCT Region at Stage 2
With Stage 2 concluded across all regions, both new and veteran players have made their mark. Some are topping the leaderboards for the first time, while others are long-time fan favorites. Here’s a thorough rundown of the standout players to keep an eye on with VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions on the horizon.
Americas
Francis "OXY" Hoang topped the player leaderboard in VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 2. Playing for Cloud9, he unfortunately didn’t qualify for Champs but gave it his all in the fight to reach the Finals. As a Duelist, OXY is known for his aggressive, high-risk playstyle. His standout performance in Stage 2 came against 2GAME Esports, where he posted a 27/14 K/D on Neon. Despite being just 20 years old, OXY already has three years of VCT experience. The future looks nothing but bright for him.

China
Wang "whzy" Haozhe from Bilibili Gaming was the top-performing player coming out of VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - China Stage 2. As the team’s designated Duelist, whzy favors fast entries—often on Neon. Having been with Bilibili for two years, he is one of the longest-standing players on the roster. He previously competed at VCT 2023 - Champions and VCT 2024 - Champions 2024, and this year’s qualification marks his third consecutive appearance at the event.

EMEA
The best player in VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 2 was Turkish rookie Uğur "Ruxic" Güç from Natus Vincere. Entering the 2025 season as a newcomer, Ruxic had already shown promise in the Turkish league. While expectations were high, he exceeded them by climbing to the top of the leaderboard. He became a key part of the NAVI roster, earning praise from his IGL Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow, who highlighted his movement and game sense as standout strengths. In an interview with THESPIKE.GG, Ruxic credited his aggressive playstyle as a Controller as the main reason behind his success.

Pacific
Veteran player Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie was unsurprisingly the top performer in VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Pacific Stage 2. As one of Paper Rex most reliable stars, Jinggg continues to dominate at both regional and international levels. A versatile flex player, he consistently showcases his skill across a wide variety of Agents. While Ilya "something" Petrov may have taken the spotlight at times, Jinggg maintained a steady performance and posted the highest ACS in the region. After winning the international title at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Toronto 2025 and now the Pacific regional championship, Jinggg is absolutely a player to watch heading into Champions.
Jinggg (Paper Rex)
- Rating: 1.16 (same as something, but higher ACS gives him the edge)
