Just a little less than a week ago, Riot Games revealed three new VALORANT tournaments as part of the studio’s Ignition Series partnership program. They covered the Latin American, the Middle Eastern and North African, as well as the Southeastern Asia regions. Well, it is time to show the Oceanic area some VALORANT love, and this is exactly what the ORDER Oceanic VALORANT Open competition is all about.

A new tournament under the Ignition Series program, the ORDER Oceanic VALORANT Open presented by Logitech G, brings a $10,000 USD prize pool to the region. Registrations are open to everyone, and the tournament can accommodate up to 1024 teams. Starting from July 3rd, 2020 to July 13th, 2020, all registered teams will go through the Open Qualifiers to make their way to the group stages. The playoffs run from July 22nd, 2020 to July 25th, 2020, finishing it off with a Grand Final on July 26, 2020.

Whoever manages to come out victorious from the ORDER Oceanic VALORANT Open will get their hand on $5,000 USD out of the $10,000 USD prize pool. Second and third place will get $3,000 USD and $1,500 respectively, with the remaining going to the fourth placed team.

Do you think we will see surprising performances coming out of the Oceanic VALORANT esports scene? Should more tournaments follow the open format instead of the invitationals we have been seeing so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below!
