The series kicked off on Sunset, widely considered Paper Rex’s best map. But despite a promising start from the EMEA giants, PRX’s IGL Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto put on a captain’s performance to shift the momentum. His clutch calls and confident duels gave Paper Rex a 13-10 win and the early lead.

Icebox saw Fnatic bounce back. Although PRX surged ahead early, Fnatic rallied to reach match point at 12-7. Just when a tie seemed inevitable, PRX clawed their way into overtime. However, Fnatic’s rookie Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski rose to the occasion with a standout performance on the Operator, sealing the map 17-15 and evening the series.

Pearl followed a similar script. Fnatic again found themselves in control early but couldn’t hold the lead. A dynamic duo performance from f0rsaken and Khalish "d4v41" Rusyaidee saw PRX storm back to take it at another 13-10, moving to tournament point.

The final battleground was Lotus, and it delivered a fitting climax. PRX started hot, but Fnatic’s second half adjustments earned them match point. Just as the map looked to be slipping away, f0rsaken once again delivered an unbelievable 4k clutch, sending the game into overtime. PRX capitalized instantly, locking in the 14-12 win and their place in VALORANT history.

A Trophy for the Princes of Pacific

With this victory, Paper Rex have shed their “runner-up” label for good. After falling just short at VCT 2022 - Stage 2 - Masters Copenhagen and VCT 2023 - Champions, the team finally broke through on the international stage.

The win cements PRX as a global force and gives the Pacific region yet another Masters trophy, the third straight for the region in back-to-back events.

f0rsaken was awarded MVP of Masters Toronto, not only for his mechanical brilliance but for seamlessly stepping into the in-game leader role and guiding his team through high-pressure moments.

    Pacific Rising

Paper Rex’s win is more than a personal triumph - it’s a statement. The Pacific region, often underestimated in earlier seasons, now stands atop the VALORANT world with both Masters titles in 2025. With Champions looming, all eyes are now on PRX to see if they can ride this momentum to an even greater legacy.

Paper Rex’s victory at Masters Toronto wasn’t just a win, it was a long time coming. From heartbreak to heroics, they’ve proven that persistence and bold, fearless VALORANT can conquer the world stage. And as the sun sets on Toronto, a new era for PRX has only just begun.
