Sources: Team Heretics bench mertz

According to multiple sources, Daniel "mertz" Mertz will be moved to the bench at Team Heretics. The Spanish organization is already looking around for a potential new player.

After an unsuccessful season of the VRL - Spain: Rising - Stage 1 - Main Event, with one win and eight losses in regular season, Team Heretics seem to be looking for a new start by moving mertz to the bench. After a long career in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the Dane decided to switch to Valorant and join Team Heretics in January this year. However, after poor results, the Spanish organization is looking around for new opportunities.

At the end of last season of Valorant Regional League Spain: Rising, Heretics decided to sign Wassim "keloqz" Cista who brought a lot of quality to the team and they stayed in the league, beating Arctic Gaming and Movistar Riders in the relegations. The new face of the team after signing a former G2 Esports player has most likely made Heretics want to get even stronger and surprise in the next Spanish league season.

Now the team led by Christian "lowel" Garcia Antoran wants to take advantage of the offseason and prepare as well as possible for the next competition already with a new player. At the moment Heretics is looking around for possible players and one of the players that has been seen on trials is Sector One's player which is Cista "KONEQT" Adel. However, he will certainly not be the only player tested by the Spanish organization.
