Shortly after parting ways with G2 Esports, Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho joined Team Heretics ahead of the VCT 2023 - EMEA League. The move was rumored some time ago and the official announcement came today.

Team Heretics are one of the Spanish organizations that have secured a spot in the partnership system. They were actually one of the strongest teams in the early times of VALORANT but then lost their pace over time. Heretics recently participated in the Spanish regional challenge but failed to make it to the VRL Finals stage. The organization has recently competed at Red Bull Home Ground #3 and reached the semifinals. As the event is over now, Heretics are looking to finalize their roster ahead of the VCT 2023 - EMEA League challenge.

Even before switching to VALORANT, m1xwell was a famous FPS player. After switching to VALORANT, he joined G2 Esports and competed for the team until the end of this year. Throughout his journey with G2, m1xwell missed both Champions but reached the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin Semifinals. G2 lastly got eliminated at EMEA LCQ and the season ended early for them. m1xwell was an important piece of the G2 roster but after the release of Chamber, he managed to show his abilities even better than before. He currently holds a 1.10 rating and a 233.4 ACS in 4866 rounds, since the beginning of his career.

Team Heretics’ current roster is:

Spain Christian "lowel" Garcia Antoran France Cista "keloqz" Wassim Turkey Melih "pAura" Karaduran Spain Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho

Spain Noel "Noel" Garberi (Head Coach) Spain Ivaylo "Linepro" Krasimirov Kolev (Strategic Coach)
