Teams revealed for the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational

After two great Ignition Series events in the T1 x NSG Showdown and the PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational, the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational looks to build on this previous success. With viewership only growing for VALORANT, the finals could genuinely reach the 100k mark. On top of that, we get to see the full debut of FaZe Clan and the return of Equinox Esports. It will be a fantastic show. Over the last several days, the participants have been revealed, and we now know every team that will compete, as well as the groups they’ve been placed in. Groups will be played in a GSL format and the first matches are going to be played between the first and last seeds and the second and third seeds respectively.

FaZe Clan Immortals 100 Thieves China Nguyen

FaZe Clan’s new roster will look to top a comparatively weak Group D, while TSM vs. Cloud9 for first place in Group B and Built By Gamers vs. Gen.G Esports for second place in Group A will be the close matchups to watch. Immortals, 100 Thieves, Complexity, and Renegades will all be looking to bounce back from somewhat poor performances over the last month, while T1 and Envy will be looking to take it a step further after exiting during the quarterfinals of the PAX Arena tournament.

As for the qualifier teams, Equinox Esports will be hoping to surprise some of the larger organizations in Group D, while the ever-dangerous Luminosity Gaming contends in Group C. Don’t sleep on Lemonade Stand or Spacestation Gaming either, though. The latter especially could do some damage in Group B depending on Cloud9’s performance level.
