Despite the fact, that the official esports competition is still to be launched by Riot Games once VALORANT is out soon in June, the communities and variety of companies are not slowing down with the tournaments to provide the best competition for all of the aspiring professional players of the new Riot’s FPS game.

THESPIKE.GG is happy to announce that we are partnering with an upcoming tournament called Epulze Valorant Prodigies.

Prior to the main phase of the tournament to determine a winner, a qualifier stage was played on May 13th-15th. Over 400 teams had registered to the cup, but only 64 were slots were avaiable in the competition. The best two teams have advanced to the main stage - EveryBodyDance and ROYALS.

16 teams (including 2 qualifiers) from Europe will battle for a share of the $3,000 prize pool for the top 3 teams (1st place - $2,200, 2nd place - $500, and 3rd place $300). The competition will start on May 23rd and the Grand Final will be hosted on June 7th, 2020.

In the competition, we will not only see the finalists of the qualifier but also the teams who got a direct invitation to the tournament. A few of them are already famous in the community including Ninjas in Pyjamas, the female squad of GODSENT, and a team that is competing under the name of fish123, which is currently considered as one of the most powerful in the European region.

Besides the VALORANT teams, we will also see famous individuals from the CS:GO scene such as Kirill “ANGE1” Karasiow, Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas Colocho, Kevin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans, and Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom.

Make sure to follow the competition and stay up to date with all of the news about Epulze Valorant Prodigies. This event is the first of many that we partner with and will cover on THESPIKE.GG as the new features will be introduced on the website this weekend!
