As the international leagues take a brief hiatus in anticipation of VALORANT Champions 2023, the spotlight shines on the Challengers Leagues, determined to captivate the attention of fans worldwide. Commencing on June 30 in São Paulo, this eagerly awaited tournament will bring together some of the most talented VALORANT teams from the Americas region. With intense battles and nail-biting moments on the horizon, it's time to dive into the action and witness the rise of a worthy challenger to earn their place at VCT 2023 - Challengers Ascension: AMERICAS for the next season year. VALORANT Ascension League Americas 2023: Bracket, format, teams

Following the conclusion of regional leagues, the top 2 teams from NA, LATAM and Brazil were selected to participate in the Ascension tournament. These teams have been divided into two groups, each comprised of three teams. During the Group Stage, teams will engage in a single round-robin format, where each team will compete against the other two teams within their own group once. The groups for the Ascension League are as follows:

Group A:

• The Union
• M80
• Fusion

Group B:

• 9z Team
• 00 Nation
• The Guard

These matches will determine the seeding for the Playoffs bracket set to start on July 3, where teams will partake in a conventional double elimination bracket, with their seeding determined by their performance in the Group Stage. The top teams from Group A and Group B will directly advance to the second round of the Playoffs, whereas the remaining teams from each group will clash in the first round as demonstrated by the graphic above. All matches throughout the Group Stage will be played as best-of-3, except for the highly anticipated Grand Final, which will be a best-of-5 showdown.

When is VALORANT Ascension League Americas?

The VALORANT Ascension League Americas 2023 is scheduled to take place in multiple venues. The Group Stage and the initial phase of the Playoffs will be held at the VALORANT Challengers Brazil studio, spanning from June 30 to July 5. Following this, on July 8 and 9, the remaining teams will transition to the iconic Pavilhão Pacaembu for the continuation of the tournament.
