VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026 top performers by ACS, KD, and more
VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Champions Shanghai has delivered countless storylines, memorable clips, and performances that will never be forgotten in the game's history. Rising Tier 2 players, established stars, and players seeking redemption shone throughout the competition, delivering one of the most exciting Champions editions ever.
There are many ways to measure performance: Average Combat Score (ACS), kill/death ratio (K/D), and more. In this article, we sorted the top-performing players of Champions Shanghai based on K/D, Kills/Round, ACS, and headshot percentage (HS%). These stats are obviously influenced by the number of matches each player played, but they still give an interesting and insightful look at who performed best in the tournament.
Top-performing players by ACS
ACS measures your contribution in terms of fragging power, objective play, and overall impact on the match. If you want to understand how it is measured, check out our ACS guide.
Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak from Team Liquid scored the highest ACS of the whole tournament. The Polish Duelist was the best-performing player on the roster, but sadly got knocked out in the Group Stage after losing to G2 Esports.
Three players on this list come from LOUD, the tournament winners: Lucca "luk xo" Travaioli, Enzo "tkzin" Zimiani, and Roberto "erde" Lobos, the champions' MVP. These were the Brazilian players who consistently stood out and delivered amazing performances when it really mattered.
Every other player on the list stood out for their team. Marshall "N4RRATE" Massey tried their best to carry Karmine Corp to a later stage of the tournament, but it wasn't enough, and the same goes for both Go "UdoTan" Kyung-won and Efe "s0pp" Tur. Timothée "Timotino" Lavigne Dupont and Matthew "Cryocells" Dylan Panganiban for 100 Thieves always delivered when the team needed it most. For example, in the last series against Team Vitality, they scored 74 and 73 kills, respectively.
Top-performing players by K/D
We can argue that K/D doesn't always reflect a player's performance realistically because of exit frags, saves, and other ways to increase it. Still, it's a valuable statistic for a general look at how a player performed. Luk Xo, Cryocells, and Erde stood out, with the highest numbers on the board.
Erde is the most surprising, for sure. Having such a high K/D while also being the team's in-game leader (IGL) is mind-blowing, since the IGL is usually the player with the lowest fragging power on the team.
Other interesting names on the board are Trent "trent" Cairns and Eray "yetujey" Budak, who aren't necessarily the players who shine the most on their respective teams. The American Initiator, however, is well known for his ability to clutch impossible rounds and his firepower as an Initiator. These skills put him in the discussion for the title of best Initiator in the world.
Top-performing players by Kills/Round
Players who score the most kills each round are usually Duelists or Sentinels, since they don't have to think about utility setups mid-round like Initiators or Controllers do. That's why they're most often on the list. Patrick "PatMen" Mendoza is an exception, as he can flex his picks from Controllers to Sentinels to Initiators without performing worse.
The other players on the list are basically the same ones with the best ACS, except for Ilia "something" Petrov, who is well known for his insane fragging skill. Again, Erde stands out as the young IGL who took the battle Sage to a new level, showing you can frag on Agents other than Chamber, Neon, or Jett.
Top-performing players by headshot percentage
These stats completely change the list. They bring new players into the top 10 who maybe didn't have their best games or longest runs, but still showed that when they shoot someone, they do it with sharpness and steady, precise aim.
Yusuf "xeus" Doğan Gözgen, the Turkish machine, has the highest HS% at 42%, followed by Huang "Yuicaw" Yung-chieh at 41%. Those are crazy numbers, meaning almost half of their kills were scored with maximum precision.
Zhang "Scales" Zhen, Shen "Erv" Zhiwei, Park "stew" Young-chan, and Sun "slowly" Kelun are the other players from Chinese teams on the list. They all went out early in the tournament, so they scored fewer kills than players like Tkzin and Dawid "PROFEK" Święć, who reached the grand final. Even if this data is influenced by that, it's still a good result for them, as it shows they can compete with the best players.
What the top performers tell us about Champions Shanghai
Looking at these four stats together, one thing is clear: there is no single way to pick the best player of the tournament. Kamo led the board in ACS. Luk Xo, Cryocells, and Erde stood out in K/D. Xeus topped the HS% list with the most precise aim of the event.
Erde is the name that stands out the most. He is the IGL of the LOUD lineup that won the whole thing and the MVP of the tournament, and he still appears in three of our four lists. This shows how much fragging and leading can go together.
Many other players left their mark even without a deep run. N4RRATE, UdoTan, and s0pp did all they could for their teams, while the Chinese players on the HS% list proved they belong on the same stage as the best.
As we said at the start, these numbers depend on the matches each player played, so they can't tell the whole story. But they remind us how strong this edition was, and how many players delivered when it mattered.
