VALORANT’s latest update, Patch 11.10, brings a wave of changes that will reshape the game’s competitive landscape, improves player experience, and introduces new features for both PC and console players. From a major agent rework to UI enhancements and competitive security upgrades, here’s everything you need to know about this patch.

Harbor Rework: A Controller with Initiator Flair

Harbor’s kit has undergone a significant overhaul, transforming him into a more aggressive Controller with Initiator-like capabilities.

    • His High Tide remains the same, allowing players to carry forward their mastery of creative wall placement.
    • Cove has been moved to the signature slot and adjusted for greater precision, giving Harbor more control when shielding allies or blocking lines of sight from a distance.
    • Alongside these changes, he gains a new ability called Storm Surge to support more assertive engagements.
    • Reckoning has also been enhanced, enabling Harbor to better lead his team when pushing into enemy territory. Check out our dedicated article on Harbor’s rework to learn more about his new kit.

    Other Agent Changes

    • Clove has been toned down to reduce their dominance in competitive queues:
      • Ruse charges are now limited to 1 when Clove is dead.
      • Pick Me Up’s overheal has been reduced from 100 HP to 50 HP.
    • Omen now allows spectators to see his perspective in Dark Cover when placing smokes, improving transparency for viewers.

Competitive Queue Security: MFA for Ascendant+

Starting with Patch 11.10, all Ascendant+ players in NA, LATAM, BR, and KR must enable Riot Mobile multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the Competitive queue. This change is aimed at preventing smurfing and account sharing, which can compromise competitive integrity.

    Team HUD Updates

The Team HUD at the top of the screen now features a new healing indicator. When you or an ally is healing, the health bar turns teal and fills to show progress. Once fully recovered, it returns to its normal white color. This visual update makes it easier to track healing status during intense moments.

    Collections UI Overhaul

VALORANT’s Collections pages have been redesigned for a better browsing experience:

    • Weapons and Buddies now use a grid layout instead of a carousel on PC.
    • A new dedicated page allows players to equip and view titles on PC.
    • Custom skinline backgrounds are now available across more Collections screens, letting your favorite weapon skins stand out. Note: These changes will be delayed for Korean players until Patch 11.11 due to player flow adjustments.

Esports: Pick’Ems Arrives for Game Changers

Pick’Ems is coming to VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Game Changers Championship on November 13. Players can predict the winners of the 10-team double elimination bracket for points and unique rewards. The tournament will be available both in-client and on the web. Check out our article on the Game Changers Championship to get up to speed on everything you need to know about the Pick'Ems.

    Gameplay System Updates

The “Use Object” button (F on PC, Square/X on Console) now removes all persistent attached debuffs at once when held. For example, both Cypher Dart and Deadlock GravNet will be removed if stacked on a player.

    Bug Fixes

Patch 11.10 includes a host of bug fixes:

    • The spike can no longer be planted outside or float above the site’s designated area.
    • Bots in The Range now show flash VFX when hit by screen blind effects.
    • Certain abilities no longer apply status effects to dead players or show in the Combat Report.
    • Kill effects are now properly aligned in left-handed mode. There are also a whole host of bug fixes for the rest of the Agent Pool which you can read HERE.

    Console Updates

    • Replays are now live for consoles, allowing players to review their matches.
    • The Lobby has been updated for easier navigation, with custom game lobbies moved to the ‘Select a Queue’ page.
    • The active queue timer now appears in the top left corner of the Main Menu HUD.

    Known Issues

    • The queue timer sometimes doesn’t reset when disconnecting and reconnecting.
    • Disconnecting and reconnecting can make it impossible to cancel the queue (fixed by restarting the game).
    • Custom lobby type changes back to Matchmaking after finishing a match.
    • Party members cannot view custom game options or changes made by the party leader.
    • “Choose a Mode” is displayed instead of “Choose a Queue” on the queue select screen.

    Premier Updates (PC Only)

Premier players can now view team information from standings, invites, and the social panel. Right-clicking on a team or friend allows you to see their roster, zone, division, and current Premier score.

Patch 11.10 is a major update that brings exciting changes to VALORANT’s gameplay, UI, and competitive scene. Whether you’re a competitive player, a casual fan, or an esports enthusiast, there’s something in this patch for everyone. Dive in, make some waves, and enjoy the new features!
