VCT BR Main Event Viewers’ Guide

The Brazilian leg of the VALORANT Champions Tour circuit of 2022, VCT 2022 - Brazil - Stage 1 - Main Event is about to start and here is everything you need to know!

Group Stage:

There are two groups and each of them has five teams. All teams will compete against each other once in the BO3 series. The group stage will start on February 12 and end on March 13. At the end, the leaders of each group will be seeded into semifinals, the second and third teams will compete in the first round diagonally. Bottom two teams of each group will have themselves a seat in the relegation process.

Playoffs:

As mentioned, the leaders of each group will start their playoff journey from the second round of the upper bracket. Other four will play against each other in the first round and the winners will reach the second round to perform against group leaders. Teams that lose in the first round will have their second chance in the losers’ bracket to win it all in the end. The winner of the tournament will represent Brazil at VCT 2022 - Stage 1 - Masters Reykjavík.

  • LOUD
  • TBK Esports
  • Team Vikings

Group B

  • FURIA
  • INGAMING Esports
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Vivo Keyd Stars
  • yng Sharks

Teams to watch:

LOUD made a huge step towards championship by acquiring Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro, Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi from Team Vikings. These two have been a huge deal for the successful Vikings roster and they will show their capabilities under the LOUD jersey. Apart from them, the other pieces of the roster may surprise us with unpredictable performances.

Group B looks much more competitive considering FURIA, yng Sharks, Vivo Keyd and Ninjas in Pyjamas are in together. Besides, the fifth member of the group, INGAMING Esports, also holds many talents in their hands so it will be a real blood bath in Group B. Watch out for every game as these teams can surprise you 24/7.
