XLG and FUT Esports eliminated from VALORANT Masters London as Top 4 takes shape
Day 10 of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters London 2026 brought two swift eliminations, as Leviatán and Team Vitality dispatched Xi Lai Gaming and FUT Esports, respectively, in a pair of dominant 2-0 wins. With the dust settled, the tournament's top 4 are now confirmed, and fans will have to wait until next weekend to crown a champion.
Leviatan Dismantle XLG in Ruthless Fashion
The first series of the day saw Leviatan face off against XLG, and the Americas squad wasted absolutely no time asserting dominance. On Leviatan's map pick of Haven, XLG looked like a completely different team from the one fans expected. Despite China's well-earned reputation for elite individual fragging, no XLG player managed to make a meaningful impact. Leviatan's defence was airtight in the first half, taking an 8-4 lead, and even though XLG claimed both pistol rounds, it wasn't enough as Lev closed out Haven 13-7.
XLG's own pick of Lotus was somehow even worse. Leviatan went on a stunning 10-round win streak to end the first half at a dominant 11-1, and the second half offered no relief for the Chinese side. XLG salvaged just two rounds before Leviatan sealed the map 13-3, completing a ruthless series win.
Vitality Overwhelm FUT in a Near-Perfect Display
The second series was just as one-sided. On Vitality's pick of Lotus, FUT Esports showed some early fight, keeping the half close before the Golden Bees edged ahead 7-5. FUT could only add two more rounds as Vitality's defence shut the door on any comeback, closing out the map 13-7.
Map 2 on Ascent was somehow even more dominant. Vitality dominated from the opening rounds, building a staggering 10-2 lead at the half. FUT managed to chain two rounds together to slow the bleeding, but it was all they could muster against the EMEA super team. Vitality closed out Ascent 13-2, an even sharper scoreline than Leviatan's 13-3 thrashing earlier in the day.
Top 4 Set: All Four Regions Represented
With both wins secured, Leviatan and Vitality now meet in the Lower Bracket Semifinal. The winner advances to face the loser of Paper Rex vs. EDward Gaming. Notably, all four remaining teams represent a different region, and in an interesting twist, both Lev and Vitality entered as second seeds from their respective regions, while PRX and EDG came in as first seeds.
As for XLG and FUT, they depart London with $50,000 in prize money and 3 VCT Points each, the latter of which will carry significant weight in the race to qualify for VALORANT Champions later this year.
