The Armory Pass in CS2 brought many new stuff to the game, including Charms. These small, eye-catching items can be attached to your guns and make them stand out, just like skins in CS2. They are easy to use. This piece explains everything you need to know about CS2 Charms!

    What are CS2 Charms?

CS2 charms are small keychains you can attach to any weapon in the game. These charms are purely decorative, like stickers or skins, and only change how your weapon looks.

The charms come in various designs, such as small characters or miniature versions of CS2 weapons. Players use them to make their weapons stand out or reflect their style. Charms swing and move naturally as you play, adding a dynamic touch. You can refer CS2 Charms to Gun Buddies in VALORANT.

    CS2 Charm types

CS2 offers two main types of charms:

    Missing Link Charms

These charms feature fun, creative designs. They include small figures or quirky objects. Many players enjoy their playful style, which contrasts with the intense nature of CS2 gameplay.

    Small Arms Charms

These charms are miniature replicas of popular CS2 weapons. They appeal to players who enjoy the game’s history and classic designs. Small Arms Charms add a nostalgic touch to weapons, especially for long-time Counter-Strike fans.

How to get Charms in CS2

Adding charms to your weapons in CS2 is easy and works like other in-game items. Here’s how to get and use them:

    Getting Charms

    1. Armory Pass: You can unlock charms by purchasing the Armory pass in the game.
    2. Marketplaces: You can also buy charms directly from marketplaces.

    Using Charms

    1. Find your charm: Open your inventory and select the charm you want to use.
    2. Choose a weapon: Select the weapon where you want to attach the charm.
    3. Pick a spot: Decide where to place the charm on the gun. Charms can be attached anywhere on the weapon’s body except for knives.

When placing a charm, think about how it will look during gameplay. Charms swing as you move, so choosing a good spot can enhance their appearance.

Is Coke Charm in CS2 exclusive?

The charm often called the Coke Charm by players is officially named Hot Sauce. This charm stands out because of its unique design and rarity. It is part of the Missing Link Charm Collection and comes in six different colors, each tied to a specific pattern range:

    • Red (Coca-Cola Pattern):
      • Patterns: 1–10,000
      • This version is the most popular. Players call it the “Coke Charm” because its red color looks like Coca-Cola branding.
    • Orange-Red:
      • Patterns: 10,001–15,000
      • This version is slightly orange but still close to the red category.
    • Reddish-Brown:
      • Patterns: 15,001–38,000
        • These charms are darker with a mix of red and brown. Some patterns closer to 38,000 appear more orange.
    • Orange:
      • Patterns: 38,001–62,000
      • The orange versions range from deep to light orange tones.
    • Brown:
      • Patterns: 62,001–85,000
      • These charms have rich brown tones. Patterns between 73,000 and 77,000 are usually called “true brown” by players.
    • Yellow (Mustard Pattern):
      • Patterns: 85,001–100,000
      • These charms are bright yellow. Higher patterns, especially after 90,000, are often called mustard-colored.

The Red Hot Sauce charm is the rarest and most desired variation. Its low pattern range and bright color make it feel exclusive. Many players want this charm to show off its bold look in their collection.

Are charms worth it in CS2?

Charms give players a way to make their weapons look unique. They do not affect gameplay or give any advantage. Many players enjoy charms because they add style and help create a personal setup. Some rare charms keep their value and can become valuable over time. Event or souvenir charms can be worth more because collectors look for them. If you like customizing your gear or want to collect special items, charms can be a good choice.

Are charms one time use in CS2?

Charms in CS2 are not one time use. You can remove a charm from a weapon and place it on another. You need a detachment tool to do this, and that tool can have a limited number of uses. The charm stays the same after you move it. Its pattern, quality, and trade options do not change. You can keep using the same charm on different weapons as long as you have the item.

    Can you sell CS2 charms?

Many charms in CS2 can be sold through the Steam Market or traded with other players. Some special charms from events or souvenir drops may need to be removed from a weapon before you sell them. A few charms might stay locked if they come from certain drops or bundles. The value of a charm depends on how rare and popular it is. Checking current market prices helps you see how much your charm is worth before you sell it.
