How to unlock Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in TOTK
To unlock the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, follow these steps:
- Locate the Tower: Find the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in the West Necluda Mountains of Hyrule, coordinates (-1344, -1170, 0166). It's west of Kakariko Village and southeast of the Morok Shrine. Upon reaching the tower, you'll notice its doors are annoyingly blocked.

- Enter Sahasra Slope Cave: Descend from the hill where the tower stands and locate the entrances to the Sahasra Slope Cave. There are two entrances available.
- Break the Rocks: Inside the cave, you'll encounter breakable rocks lining the walls. Use Bomb Flowers fused to arrows or a weapon with a stone to break these rocks. Focus on either the right or left wall depending on your chosen entrance.
- Find the Hidden Path: As you clear the rocks, you'll uncover a hidden path leading deeper into the cave. Avoid destroying rocks at the tunnel's end to skip unnecessary battles.
- Ascend to the Tower: Eventually, you'll reach a hidden cavern within the cave. Use the Ascend ability to emerge inside the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower.
- Clear the Doorway: Inside the tower, remove the sticks blocking the sliding doors. This action will allow you to activate the tower.

By following these steps, you'll successfully unlock the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom, expanding your map and making solid progress to your save.
Where is the Bubbulfrog in the Sahasra Slope Cave?
In the Sahasra Slope Cave, specifically in the smaller chamber between the two entrances, you'll encounter the Bubbulfrog. To reach it, follow these steps:
- Locate the Smaller Chamber: Head towards the point where the two entrance tunnels converge within the cave.
- Move the Boulder: In this smaller chamber, you'll find a boulder directly beneath the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. Move this boulder to access the Bubbulfrog.
- Encounter the Bubbulfrog: Once you've cleared the path, you'll be able to face off against the Bubbulfrog. Be prepared for this encounter as you navigate through the cave.

Inside the Sahasra Slope Cave, you can find various resources such as Brightcaps, Raw Meat, Brightbloom Seeds, Giant Brightbloom Seeds, Sticky Lizards, Tireless Frogs, and different types of ore deposits.
Watch out for Horriblins, which are enemies you may encounter within the cave's passages.
What is special about Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower?
The Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower is one of the most unique towers in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It is located in the West Necluda region at the coordinates (1346, -1170, 166). Unlike most Skyview Towers, you cannot open its door from the outside. You must find another way inside.
To reach it, go to the cave below the tower. Break the rocks inside and move through the tunnel until you find a flat spot under the tower. Use the Ascend ability there to reach the top. Once you appear inside, remove the two sticks that block the doors and speak to the worker named Billson. He will repair the terminal and make the tower work.
Activating the tower reveals a large part of the map and unlocks a fast travel point. The small puzzle makes this tower feel more rewarding than most others.
Why won't the Skyview Tower open?
The Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower stays locked if you try to open it from the front. The main door will not respond until you unlock it from the inside.
Follow these steps to open it:
- Go to Sahasra Slope Cave under the tower.
- Break the rocks to reach the area below the tower.
- Use the Ascend ability to enter the room above.
- Remove the sticks that block the doors and talk to Billson.
After that, the tower activates, and you can use it to scan the area and unlock fast travel for West Necluda.
