SMGs, which include the moderately-priced Spectre and its counterpart the Stinger, are the next group of weapons that will be examined in this article. Given that their statistics had been changed in previous patches, they were considered alternatives to rifles and sidearms. Depending on your play style, Stinger and Spectre could pave the way for a win when it matters most.

It is vital to state that there are factors to take into account while comparing two weapons, such as their fire rates, magazines, prices, or wall penetrations. It is difficult to argue that one weapon is better than another without elaborating on what makes them valuable to players. In light of this, comparing weapons in terms of their capabilities helps in your grasp of the dynamics.

STINGER

The Stinger has seen its stats changed in the previous patches. For instance, its walking and running inaccuracy decreased at a remarkable rate. Having two firing modes like some rifles, the Stinger can be most effective at short range, utilizing its semi-automatic burst mode. The Stinger has a noticeable accuracy advantage over the other weapons when used on the move. Given that the Stinger costs 950 credits, players who cannot afford high-cost guns like the Vandal or Spectre can still use its 16 rounds per/sec fire rate in duels. Moreover, players can pave the way for a win thanks to its high fire rate, making it a lethal option against singular opponents. Lastly, the Stinger's low price makes it a logical decision for those who aim to gain a weapon upgrade.

SPECTRE

The Spectre has secured its place in the list of meta weapons thanks to its mobility and lower initial spread, which can be used effectively against multiple enemies. The SMG is also quieter than the other primary weapons, allowing players to lurk around and destabilize the opposite team. Although Spectre has average statistics compared to Vandal and Phantom, it is the most efficient weapon in short ranges, eliminating targets with excellent accuracy and magazine capacity. With 30 bullets in each magazine, the Spectre provides a stronger close- and medium-range damage output than the Stinger. It costs 1600 credits and enables players to kill enemies by shooting them twice in the head. Additionally, players can prefer Spectre to take on multiple enemies in long-running firefights. It is worth noting that Spectre accounted for %7-8 of the selected weapons in the VCT 2022 - Stage 2 - Masters Copenhagen and VCT 2022 - Champions Istanbul.
