Today, Gen.G Esports have announced the signing of Kim "t3xture" Na-ra, who is the first arrival to the active roster for the upcoming season. Gen.G failed to compete in any of the international tournaments last year, except for LOCK//IN, and they want to have a different story in 2024 to represent South Korea and the Pacific against other regions.

Gen.G got very close to the international stage last year, but they were unable to take down other strong teams in the region. They are one of the franchising teams in the Pacific region, which holds one of the highest competition out of every VALORANT league in the world. Gen.G made a disastrous start to the 2023 season by placing 17-32th at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN as they got swept to LOUD in the first round. However, they had a promising run during the regional league. Gen.G finished the VCT 2023: Pacific League competition in fourth place and barely missed the chance to qualify for VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo and VALORANT Champions 2023. Gen.G had one more chance to show their skills and qualify for the biggest tournament of the year, but they placed 3rd at VCT 2023 Pacific League Last Chance Qualifier and the season ended pretty early.

T3xture is the first signing of Gen.G this offseason

Gen.G began their offseason plans earlier than most of the other teams. A couple of weeks ago, they parted ways with the majority of their roster, leaving only Kim “Meteor” Tae-O. The first signing news from the Pacific giants has come today as they revealed the arrival of t3xture. The South Korean player had recently parted ways with Global Esports, and according to today’s announcement, he will continue to compete in the highest division of the region.

T3xture currently holds a 1.20 rating and a 1.25 K/D. He was used to known for playing Duelists, but interestingly, his most-picked agent in the past year is Killjoy with 10 games. Jett comes after Killjoy with 8 picks.

Currently, there are only two players on the active Gen.G roster, and here they are:
