The Apex Legends Raise Hell event is here, and it’s one of the biggest seasonal updates of the year. This limited-time Halloween event brings a dark twist to the Apex Games with new gameplay modes, spooky map changes, and exclusive cosmetics that players won’t want to miss.

Running from October 14 to November 4, 2025, Raise Hell transforms the atmosphere of Apex Legends into a thrilling Halloween experience packed with rewards, challenges, and chaotic fun.

What is Apex Legends Raise Hell Event?

The Raise Hell event is a Halloween-themed collection event designed to shake up the Apex Legends experience. It includes new ways to play, haunting map updates, and a ton of event-exclusive items.

The highlight of this year’s event is the introduction of the Reaper vs. Demon faction system — a dual-path gameplay feature that gives every match a supernatural twist. Combined with the eerie, nighttime version of Kings Canyon, Raise Hell has a lot to offer.

Reaper vs. Demon: Wildcard mode explained

The biggest feature of the Apex Legends Raise Hell event is the Wildcard system. When you drop into the new Halloween playlist, you’ll need to choose your side: Reaper or Demon.

    • Reaper Path: Focuses on precision, agility, and speed. Reapers gain bonuses such as faster reloads, improved movement, and boosted critical hit potential. This path rewards sharp aim and tactical awareness.
    • Demon Path: Built for chaos and aggression. Demons thrive in close combat, with perks like infinite ammo bursts, explosive knockdowns, and health regeneration when dealing damage.

Each path gives you a unique set of perks called Wild Cards, which enhance your abilities and add unpredictable elements to the fight. Choosing the right path — and adapting to its playstyle — can make the difference between victory and defeat.

Map changes: Kings Canyon turns dark

No Apex Legends Halloween event would be complete without a spooky makeover, and Raise Hell delivers in style. The beloved Kings Canyon map has been transformed into a dark, haunted battleground.

The new version features night lighting, glowing loot bins, eerie fog effects, and jump-scare surprises hidden around corners. Players will also hear haunting ambient sounds that make firefights even more intense.

A special item, the Rev Shell Grenade, makes a return in this event. This unique grenade seeks out enemies and can completely turn a fight in your favor if used strategically.
