Loba is one of the popular supports in Apex Legends and that is why more people want to learn more about her.  She is known for her ability to move quickly and find the best items, which makes her a popular choice for players who like to think fast and move quickly. Loba's skills help her team get better gear and move around easily. Her abilities make her a great asset, especially when the team needs to be flexible or make quick decisions.

Let’s cut to the chase and take a look at all of Loba’s abilities and more!

What are Loba's abilities in Apex?

Here are Loba’s abilities in Apex:

    BURGLAR'S BEST FRIEND

    • Description: Teleport to hard-to-reach places or escape trouble quickly by throwing your jump drive bracelet.
    • Cooldown: 25 seconds

Loba's tactical skill lets her teleport to places that are hard to reach or escape from danger quickly. She throws a bracelet, and then she teleports to where it lands. This ability takes 25 seconds to recharge. She can throw the bracelet up to 71 meters on flat ground, but she can throw it over 100 meters from higher ground. While the bracelet is in the air, Loba can't use weapons or heal. If the bracelet goes out of bounds, it comes back without starting the cooldown. Loba can also use this ability while on ziplines.

    Eye for Quality

    • Description: Nearby epic and legendary loot can be seen through walls. The range is the same as Black Market Boutique Black Market Boutique.

Loba's passive skill lets her see and mark important loot through walls within a 112.5-meter area. This is the same distance her ultimate ability reaches. She can mark items as far away as 12 meters, and using special optics can increase this range. She can see very rare items with this skill, but she cannot see items inside loot ticks and Death Boxes if obstacles block them.

    Black Market Boutique

    • Description: Place a portable device that allows you to teleport nearby loot to your inventory. Each friendly or enemy Legend can take up to two items.
    • Charge time: 2.5 minutes

Loba’s ultimate skill allows her to place a device that teleports nearby loot straight to anyone who uses it. The ultimate starts each game 50% ready, and it takes 2.5 minutes to fully charge. Each player can take up to two items from the Black Market. Ammo does not count toward this limit. The device takes 4.5 seconds to activate and sends out a pulse that enemies can see.

    How to use Loba Ult?

Loba's ultimate ability, the Black Market Boutique, is a game-changer in Apex Legends. It lets her set up a device that pulls nearby items straight to any player who interacts with it. Knowing when and where to use this ability can really help your team.

The Black Market is perfect for getting your team what they need quickly. You can grab as much weapon ammunition as you want without it counting against your limit of two items. This is great for long fights where you need lots of ammo. Placing the Black Market in a safe spot or behind cover lets your team grab supplies without getting shot at.

Another smart way to use the Black Market is for armor swapping. During a fight, instead of stopping to heal, you can grab new armor that's fully charged. This is very useful towards the end of the game when things are hectic.

But, using the Black Market can also give away your position. It makes a visible pulse when it starts up, and every time someone takes an item, a white trail shows where the item went. You need to make sure the area is safe before you use it, or you might end up being attacked by enemies.

    How to use Loba effectively

To really do well as this Legend, you need to know the best times and places to use her abilities. Her tactical ability, Burglar’s Best Friend, lets her teleport. It's not just for escaping; it's also great for moving to better spots in a fight. But remember, Loba is vulnerable when she teleports, so make sure you're safe where you land.

Loba's passive ability lets her see high-quality loot through walls. While it's tempting to chase after the best loot, don't forget about your team's goals. Always tell your teammates about important items, especially early in the game when upgrading your gear is key.

Loba's skills work best when you're not in the middle of a fight. Use quiet moments to move to a better spot, check for good loot, or set up the Black Market. Focus on fighting, staying in good positions, and working with your team during battles. Use Loba's abilities to help with these efforts, not replace them.

Practice makes perfect. Spend time playing in different areas to learn the best places to teleport and when to set up the Black Market. Understanding how to quickly check for the best loot can also make a big difference. If you can use Loba's skills wisely, you'll be a great help to your team and a tough opponent in the game.

    Who is Loba in Apex?

Loba is a Support Legend in Apex Legends. She was added in Season 5 and can be unlocked with game currency or through the Champion Edition. Loba's story is filled with loss and revenge. She uses her skills to get the best loot and aims to avenge her family's death by targeting Revenant, another character in the game. She uses the games to get back at him and enjoys the treasures she finds along the way.

    Loba’s lore in Apex Legends

Loba's story in Apex Legends is filled with tragedy and revenge. She was just nine years old when she saw a killer named Revenant destroy her family. Left with nothing, she grew up using her skills as a thief to survive. She became so good that she could steal anything from anywhere, especially after she got her hands on a special device that let her teleport.

Loba's reputation grew as the best person to steal valuable items. But her past caught up with her when Revenant joined the Apex Games. Now, she plays in the Games not just for the thrill, but to keep Revenant alive as he wishes for death. By keeping him alive, she makes him suffer, which she sees as just revenge for what he did to her family. While she seeks vengeance, she also enjoys the treasures she finds in the Games.

How old is Loba in Apex?

Loba is 36 years old. Her age shows her experience and wisdom, making her one of the more intriguing and seasoned characters in Apex Legends.

Loba is a great pick in Apex Legends and with the right tactics, she can have a big impact.

Were Loba and Valkyrie dating previously?

Loba and Valkyrie had a romantic story in Apex Legends. Their connection grew over several seasons through missions and warm in-game dialogue. The game’s lore showed them spending time together and sharing trust during key events.

Recent updates show that their romance has ended. Season 20 lore and the Kill Code storyline revealed signs of tension and distance between them. Dialogues and mission scenes now suggest they moved apart and chose different paths.

While Respawn did not make a dramatic breakup scene, the hints across the latest chapters make it clear that the relationship has quietly closed.

Is Loba a good character in Apex Legends?

Yes, many players view Loba as a strong legend, especially for strategic and support roles. Her abilities boost team resources and movement:

    • Her Passive “Eye for Loot” helps spot high-tier gear through walls.
    • Her Ultimate, “Black Market Boutique,” allows her squad to loot useful items quickly without exposing themselves.
    • Her teleportation tools help reposition the team and make rotations safer.

While she does not offer heavy damage or strong direct combat power, her utility, map control, and looting strength make her a solid pick for teams that value support and strategy.
