There is a legendary team at the Riot Games HQ who design all these impressive skins and that team is known for releasing quality work. Once again, League of Legends’ design team did great work and released the Heartsteel skin line ahead of Worlds 2023.

Riot Games has launched something exciting: a new virtual boy band called "HEARTSTEEL." This follows the success of their previous virtual group, KD/A. HEARTSTEEL is unique, combining music with the gaming world of League of Legends. Each band member has a special skin, bringing a new level of style to the game.

HEARTSTEEL's music mixes K-pop, hip-hop, and electronic beats. Their first song, "PARANOIA," has already become a favorite among fans. Riot Games continues to blend popular culture with gaming, drawing in a wider audience and adding depth to their games.

Fans got their first look at the Heartsteel skins in the "PARANOIA" music video. The excitement for these skins is huge. Each one reflects the character and style of its Heartsteel band member. Riot's approach to integrating character design with storytelling keeps them at the forefront of digital entertainment.

When do the Heartsteel skins come out?

The release of the Heartsteel skins was highly anticipated. They became available on November 8. This date aligned with Patch 13.22 and the Worlds 2023 knockout stage. This timing was perfect, as it coincided with one of the biggest League of Legends events of the year.

    How much does Heartsteel cost?

The Heartsteel skins varies in price. Most skins were Epic Skins and cost 1350 RP each. However, Kayn’s skin was more detailed and was priced at 1820 RP because it was a Legendary skin. Yone's Heartsteel skin has both an Epic version (costing 1350 RP) and a Mythic Prestige version, which initially cost 2000 event tokens, now available for 125 Mythic Essence. Legendary skins completely redesigned the champion with new models, animations, and sounds. Epic skins included new models, textures, animations, visual effects, and sounds, but they did not change the champion as completely.

Who is the new boy band in League of Legends?

The new boy band in League of Legends is Riot Games’ gift to players ahead of Worlds 2023. It's a group formed by characters from League of Legends and real musicians. The band includes champions like Kayn, Ezreal, Aphelios, Yone, K’Sante, and Sett. Each brings their own unique style to this virtual group.

Who are the singers in the Heartsteel boy band?

Here are the Heartsteel band members and their roles:

    • Ezreal: Takes on the role of vocalist, charming fans with his melodic voice.
    • Kayn: Shows off his versatility as both a rapper and an instrumentalist.
    • Aphelios: Adds depth to the band as an instrumentalist and songwriter.
    • Yone: Puts his skills to work behind the scenes as the producer.
    • K’Sante: Stands out as co-leader and vocalist.
    • Sett: Commands attention with his powerful rap segments as co-leader.

Riot Games introduced the band on October 24, right after their song "PARANOIA" came out.

    Is Heartsteel a K-Pop band?

Yes, Heartsteel is a virtual K-Pop group created by Riot Games. K-Pop, short for Korean Pop music, is a genre that has seen explosive growth globally over the past few years. This music style is characterized by its blend of addictive melodies, slick choreography, and an endless variety of styles.

Heartsteel taps into this phenomenon, bringing its unique twist to the K-Pop world with their debut single "PARANOIA" released on October 23, 2023. This move by Riot Games not only celebrates the genre's global appeal but also integrates it with the immersive world of League of Legends, creating a multi-dimensional entertainment experience.

With the successful launch of HEARTSTEEL, Riot Games has shown how creativity can expand a game's world. The unique integration of music and gaming continues to captivate and grow the League of Legends community. Fans can look forward to more such innovative experiences as Riot Games remains committed to these kinds of projects and obviously more like this will come in the future.

Which is the rarest Heartsteel skin in League of Legends?

The rarest Heartsteel skin is Heartsteel Yone Prestige Edition. Riot released it during a limited event, and players could only unlock it with event tokens. It never appeared in the regular shop. Because of this, most players missed it. The skin also has a special look that sets it apart from the other Heartsteel versions.

I started writing here in 2021, but my first gig was back in 2018. That was when I realized people actually get paid to write about games. I’ve written thousands of articles for different media outlets, led teams, and conducted interviews with players.

When I’m not behind the keyboard, I’m watching Galatasaray, following the NBA, or pretending I’m still good at basketball. I also work full-time at AnyDesk, writing serious things in not-so-serious ways.
