Team Vitality and Leviatán secure playoffs spots at VALORANT Masters London
Team Vitality and Leviatán have booked their spots in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters London 2026 playoffs after surviving tense regional clashes on Day 3 of the Swiss stage.
Vitality edge FUT in three-map thriller
The EMEA showdown between Team Vitality and FUT Esports opened the day, and it quickly lived up to the hype. Vitality came out swinging on their map pick of Pearl, controlling the pace to secure a 7-5 lead by halftime. FUT answered back with a strong resurgence on the defense, but despite the momentum shift, Vitality held their nerve in the closing rounds to edge out a 13-11 win.
FUT struck back emphatically on Haven, their own pick. Their attack-side was explosive from the outset, suffocating Vitality’s setups and giving the Golden Bees little room to breathe. The second half offered no real recovery window for Vitality, as FUT confidently closed the map 13-4 to force a decider.
On Fracture, Vitality regrouped and delivered a statement attack half, repeatedly cracking FUT’s defensive reads and building a crucial cushion. FUT did their best to mirror that effort when sides switched, but Vitality’s mid-round calling and composure in late rounds made the difference as they closed the map 13-10, locking in their playoff berth.
Leviatan outlast NRG in Pearl decider
The Americas clash between NRG and Leviatán followed a similar three-map pattern, but with its own momentum swings. Starting on Leviatán’s Ascent pick, the South American squad imposed their style early, taking a 7-5 lead at the half. Their second-half defense smothered NRG’s attempts to adjust, and LEV comfortably converted their map 13-7.
NRG answered back on Lotus with a dominant display. After a competitive first half, they completely shut down Leviatán after the side swap, allowing LEV only a single round in the second half to take the map 13-5 and push the series to Pearl.
On the decider, Leviatán consistently stayed a step ahead. They held a slim but important 7-5 lead at halftime and then rode that momentum into the closing stretch. NRG struggled to contain the layered aggression, and Leviatán closed out Pearl 13-8, securing their spot in playoffs and a well-earned day of rest.
FUT and NRG face Elimination
For FUT Esports and NRG, the tournament is not over yet. Both teams now sit at 1-1 in the Swiss stage and receive a single day’s rest before returning to face the winners of XLG vs DRG and Global Esports vs FULL SENSE in their Round 3 matches, where a playoff berth or a step toward elimination awaits.
