Actor and comedian Seth Rogen is now in the game as part of a limited-time event called “High Art,” alongside new skins, rewards, and XP challenges. The addition connects Rogen’s well-known personality with CoD’s ongoing pop culture collaborations. Here is everything you need to know about the new Seth Rogen Call of Duty Operator and the new High Art event!
Who is Seth Rogen?
Seth Rogen is a Canadian actor, writer, and comedian. He became famous with movies like Superbad, Pineapple Express, and Knocked Up. He also worked behind the scenes as a writer and producer.
Rogen often played funny and relaxed characters. He also supported Alzheimer’s awareness through a charity called Hilarity for Charity. In recent years, he became involved in the cannabis industry and helped launch a company called Houseplant.
"Seth Rogen's laid-back demeanor and infectious laughter make him a favorite among his squad. Known for his quick wit and strategic mind, Rogen brings a unique blend of humor and tactical expertise to the battlefield. Despite the high-stakes environment, he always finds a way to lighten the mood and boost team morale,” Seth Rogen’s in-game biography reads.
Seth Rogen joins CoD in a special event
The new Seth Rogen operator arrives through the “High Art” event. This limited-time event runs from May 1 to May 15, 2025. The timing matches the 4/20 season and fits Rogen’s image and lifestyle.
Players can get two versions of Rogen’s operator skin. The first one is called “Fired Up” and shows Rogen in casual combat gear. The second one is called “Host Rogen” and gives him a flashy suit with bright colors.
The event is part of a larger effort by Call of Duty to add more pop culture content. In the past, the game added characters from anime, sci-fi, and movies.
How to get Seth Rogen in Call of Duty
To play as Seth Rogen in Call of Duty, you need to buy the premium High Art event pass. It costs 1,100 CoD Points (around $9.99). Once you purchase it, the “Fired Up” skin is added to your account automatically. There is no need to earn XP for this version—it’s available immediately.
If you want the second version, “Host Rogen,” you’ll need to grind for it. You must earn 370,000 XP across any game mode, Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone, during the event. Progress is saved, so you don’t need to hit the goal in a single session.

Not all fans are happy about the new skin
The reaction to Seth Rogen’s CoD skin has been mixed. Some players enjoy the fun tone and like hearing his voice during matches. Others say the skin doesn’t fit the style of Call of Duty.
Critics point out that the content focuses too much on cannabis culture. Some say it shows only one side of Rogen, even though he worked in many different movie genres. Others feel that this kind of event moves CoD too far from its military roots.
Some fans also said the character lines were not funny enough. A few mentioned the lack of variety in his dialogue. Others feel that the design leans too much into stoner jokes and doesn’t reflect Rogen’s full career.
At the same time, many players say the event brings fun and personality to the game. They remember that CoD has included silly content for years, from anime skins to celebrity crossovers. These players believe that Call of Duty should offer different kinds of content for different audiences.
The debate on Call of Duty turning into “Fortnite” does make sense, considering the game’s path to being a more “modern” and “colorful” FPS game. However, that is what many players demand, so the debate doesn’t really have a winning side. We’ll see if Activision and Treyarch continue to hold colorful events like High Art.
