Wattson Prestige skin in Apex Legends: First look and all details
Apex Legends is introducing another high-tier cosmetic, and this time it's for Wattson. Fans have waited years for the Static Defender to receive a Prestige skin. Although Respawn has not made an official announcement yet, reliable leaks confirm that the skin is coming soon. According to the leaker HYPERMYST on X, the company is getting ready to roll out the new Wattson Prestige skin in Apex Legends. Details are below!
Will Wattson get a Prestige Skin?
Yes. Leaks confirm that Wattson will get a Prestige skin soon. The information comes from HYPERMIST, one of the most well-known Apex Legends leakers. They shared full details about the new skin, including its three levels, finisher, and dive trail.
Even though Respawn has not officially announced the skin, past leaks from the same source have turned out to be true. Many players believe the skin will appear sometime during Season 25. Wattson is long overdue for this kind of upgrade, so her Prestige skin is likely coming very soon.
What is the Wattson Prestige skin in Apex Legends?
Prestige skins are Apex Legends' most exclusive cosmetics. They evolve through three visual levels that players unlock by dealing damage with that specific Legend. The first tier becomes available right after unlocking the Apex Legends skin. Tier 2 unlocks at 30,000 damage, and Tier 3 unlocks at 100,000 damage.
Prestige skins also include custom finishers and other animations. These skins are released during limited-time Collection Events. To unlock one, players must collect all 24 event cosmetics. After the event, Prestige skins move to the Mythic Store, where players can unlock them using 150 Heirloom Shards.
Wattson's Prestige skin will follow this format. It will be available through a Collection Event and later through the Mythic Store.

How to get Wattson’s Prestige skin in Apex
Wattson’s Prestige skin will be available through a Collection Event. To unlock it, players must collect all 24 items in the event. These include skins, charms, emotes, and trackers. After collecting everything, the Prestige skin becomes available automatically.
Once the event ends, players will no longer be able to unlock the skin this way. However, they can still get it from the Mythic Store using 150 Heirloom Shards. These shards are rare and drop randomly from Apex Packs. This makes Prestige skins hard to get, even after their event ends.
The event will also feature badges related to Wattson.

What is the most expensive Apex skin?
The most expensive skins in Apex Legends are Prestige skins. These skins usually cost more than $160 USD if players try to unlock them during the Collection Event. This price includes the cost of buying enough Apex Coins to collect all event items.
If a player decides to wait, they can unlock the Prestige skin with 150 Heirloom Shards, but those are also hard to get. They drop rarely from Apex Packs and often take a long time to collect. This makes Prestige skins both rare and expensive.
Some crossover skins and event-exclusive bundles can also be expensive, but Prestige skins remain the top-tier items in the game.
Wattson’s Prestige skin will be a major addition to Apex Legends. The skin will arrive through a Collection Event in Season 25. After that, it will be available with Heirloom Shards. If you enjoy Apex Legends and want to read more about it, please check out the guides below:
