Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 brought forth an array of weaponry, including the formidable Kinetic Blade. Initially available during the season, this katana was a thrilling treat for enthusiasts favoring close combat. However, by the end of the season, the Kinetic Blades were vaulted, rendering them no longer acessible. Despite their temporary presence, they made a significant impact on close-quarters combat dynamics.

Where can the Kinetic Blades be found?

During its availability, the Kinetic Blade could be acquired from various sources across the map: found on the ground, within chests and vaults, or through encountering blade stands strategically placed around the island. Players had the opportunity to wield this close-quarters weapon, although its presence was limited. Nonetheless, mastering its use was essential, as the katana's mechanics demanded close proximity to be effective.

The blade stands, scattered around the island, served as convenient spots for players to obtain the Kinetic Blade.

What did the Kinetic Blades do?

The Kinetic Blade's main attack was a slicing move that sent opponents flying, a real game-changer! It was perfect for throwing enemies off balance or giving them a one-way ticket off the edge, sending them into oblivion. You could also charge it up for a power slash that not only smacked enemies but also hurled you towards them. Talk about multitasking! It was handy not just for dealing damage but also for zipping around, especially dodging the approaching storm. But hey, gotta admit, when it comes to distance, it fell short compared to the Season 1 Shockwave Hammer.

Will the Kinetic Blades return?

While the Kinetic Blade has been vaulted by the end of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, there's a possibility it might resurface in the game's arsenal in the future. However, it's important to note that such returns often take an extended period to materialize. Epic Games frequently evaluates and reshapes its gameplay dynamics, introducing new items and retiring older ones to maintain balance and keep the gaming experience fresh. Therefore, while there's hope for the return of the Kinetic Blade, players might need to exercise patience as its reappearance might take a considerable amount of time, if at all.
