Warzone Access Cards: Understanding their role in the game and how to use them
Access cards can be confusing in Warzone at first but they're actually simple.Warzone Access Cards are special items that let you open hidden Bunkers scattered across the map. These Bunkers are packed with high-level loot, killstreaks, and sometimes even secret items. In this guide, we’ll go over what Access Cards are, where to find them, how to use them, and all the Bunker locations.
What are Warzone Access Cards?
Access Cards in Call of Duty: Warzone are special in-game items that act as keys to unlock Bunkers—underground locations packed with high-tier loot, killstreaks, and even hidden story elements. These cards are essential for players who want to maximize their gear, uncover Easter eggs, and gain a tactical edge.
There are currently two main types of Access Cards in the latest Warzone update: Blue and Red. Each opens specific Bunkers and offers different rewards.
Warzone Blue Card explained
The Blue Keycard is used to unlock a set of exclusive Bunkers—specifically Bunkers 2, 7, and 8—which contain powerful loot and unique items, including Nuke Schematics and a free UAV.

The Blue Keycard can also unlock hidden content like the Stadium Easter Egg, depending on the match and map conditions.
Warzone Red Access Card in detail
The Red Keycard grants access to Bunkers 4, 5, 6, and 9. These also contain valuable weapons and equipment, though without the unique items found in the Blue Bunkers.

Bonus: Code-Based Bunkers
Not all Bunkers require Access Cards. Some are unlocked by:
- Decoding Morse code from ringing phones
- Following multi-step Easter egg puzzles
These offer another layer of complexity and reward players who enjoy solving in-game mysteries.
Everything you need to know about Warzone Bunkers
Bunkers are underground locations filled with valuable loot such as:
- Legendary weapons
- Killstreaks (UAVs, Cluster Strikes, etc.)
- Cash, armor, and field upgrades
- Special items like Nuke Schematics or Specialist Perks
All Warzone Bunker locations
There are currently 11 Bunkers active across the map. Their access methods vary, and not all use codes anymore.

Access Cards are randomly found in loot crates, so a bit of luck and smart rotation are needed to open multiple Bunkers in one match.
