Rocket League brings back its annual Halloween event, and the Haunted Hallows 2025 update arrives with a full Scooby-Doo collaboration. The game introduces a themed limited-time mode, free in-game rewards, and new items in the Item Shop. Players can unlock cosmetics through quests or buy the Mystery Machine bundle for their garage.

Rocket League Haunted Hallows 2025 event dates

The Rocket League x Scooby-Doo Haunted Hallows 2025 event runs from October 14 to November 1. Players can access quests, rewards, and the limited-time mode only during this period. Once the event ends, the exclusive items and challenges will no longer be available. The Haunted Hallows tab is visible in the main menu, and players can check quest progress at any time.

How the “Up to No Good LTM” works

The event features a new limited-time mode called Up to No Good. The mode changes ball behavior and creates faster and more chaotic plays. The ball is very light and reacts like a balloon. A team scores when the ball touches the ground, and the last team that hits the ball before impact receives the point. Players must stay in motion, contest the ball at all times, and prevent the drop.

Several Haunted Hallows quests link directly to this mode. Players who want every reward must play at least a few Up to No Good matches.

All Scooby-Doo rewards and free event challenges

The Haunted Hallows 2025 quest lineup includes free Scooby-Doo themed cosmetics. Players earn rewards by completing match-based tasks such as scoring, assisting, saving, or winning games. The reward pool includes:

    • Scooby Snacks Topper
    • Scooby-Doo Antennas
    • Scooby Speed Octane Decal
    • Scooby Snacks Rocket Boost
    • Player Titles and a Player Banner

The event also offers Golden Pumpkin drops, which contain a random item from previous series. These drops give players an extra reason to play even after collecting all cosmetic rewards. In addition, an unlimited XP challenge awards 20,000 XP each time it is completed, which supports steady Rocket Pass progression.

Mystery Machine bundle price and contents

The Mystery Machine is the main premium cosmetic item in the crossover. It is sold in the Item Shop and is not part of the free reward track. The bundle includes:

    • The Mystery Machine car body
    • The Mystery Machine decals
    • The themed wheels

The vehicle uses the Merc hitbox. The shop also features standalone Scooby Doo items, including a goal explosion, trail, and rocket boost. These items rotate in the store and cost Credits. Players who want only one item can buy it without purchasing the full bundle.

    Golden pumpkins and event progression

Golden Pumpkins return as part of the progression system. Players can unlock them through quests. The drops do not require keys or Credits, and each one contains a single item from a selected past series. This system rewards consistent play and provides long-term goals throughout the event.

The Rocket League x Scooby-Doo Haunted Hallows 2025 event delivers a full set of Halloween activities with a clear structure and simple progression. Players who want free items can complete quests through regular online matches, and collectors can buy the Mystery Machine from the Item Shop.

Onur Demirkol here, content writer for THESPIKEGG. I have been around for a very long time now, you may have seen me in the comments.

I started writing here in 2021, but my first gig was back in 2018. That was when I realized people actually get paid to write about games. I’ve written thousands of articles for different media outlets, led teams, and conducted interviews with players.

When I’m not behind the keyboard, I’m watching Galatasaray, following the NBA, or pretending I’m still good at basketball. I also work full-time at AnyDesk, writing serious things in not-so-serious ways.
