The first Fortnite Stranger Things crossover appeared in 2019 alongside Stranger Things Season 3. New Fortnite Stranger Things Blitz map

One of the biggest updates in the Fortnite Stranger Things event is the new limited-time map. It appears inside the Blitz Royale mode, a faster, more intense version of standard Fortnite matches.

In Blitz, matches last around five minutes, with fewer players (around 32) and a smaller battlefield. For this crossover, the Blitz map has been transformed into a twisted reflection of Hawkins. Key points of interest from the show, such as Hawkins Lab, Starcourt Mall, and the Byers’ home, appear with eerie lighting and glowing red cracks leading to the Upside Down.

The sky above the map features the Mind Flayer — the giant shadow monster from the series — looming over players, creating a tense and cinematic atmosphere.
