This neutral monster is a special one in LoL.Atakhan is a new neutral monster in League of Legends. He only spawns once in a game, but he gives strong rewards that can change the outcome. Riot designed Atakhan to appear based on how players fight in the early game, which can rapidly change the outcome of a game. In this piece, we explain everything you need to know about Atakhan in League of Legends!
What is Atakahn in League of Legends?
Atakhan is a powerful monster that spawns in Summoner’s Rift at the 20-minute mark. It appears once per game and has two different forms. Its form depends on how much fighting happened in the first 14 minutes of the game. If there were many kills and a lot of damage, Ruinous Atakhan will spawn. If the game is slow with fewer fights, Voracious Atakhan will appear instead.
Atakhan uses both melee attacks and magic abilities. He grows Blood Roses across the map before it spawns. These plants give small but permanent stat boosts to the team that collects them. When Atakhan dies, it gives buffs to the team that kills him.
Here is a table showing Atakhan's stats and features:
Players must be careful when they attack Atakhan at an early stage of the game because this monster deals extensive damage. Considering the squishiness of champions in the early stages, it may not be a clever idea to give an Atakhan call if your team’s health bars aren’t convincing. Atakhan also has 90 Armor and 75 Magic Ressist, which makes it hard to deal damage to this monster.
Atakahn features and details
Atakhan has many abilities and effects that affect how teams fight him. Its behavior depends on which form it takes.
Spawn System
- Riot tracks champion kills and damage by each team until 14 minutes.
- The side of the map with more action decides its spawn location.
- If there was more damage and kills, Ruinous Atakhan spawns.
- If the game was quiet, Voracious Atakhan spawns.
- Two rose-thorn walls appear at 14 minutes to show where he will spawn.
Blood Roses
