Rocket League has introduced a new limited-time event for players who are especially into the esports scene. Rocket League Drop Rush has already begun, and in this piece, we explain everything you need to know about it!

What is the Rocket League Drop Rush event?

Rocket League Drop Rush is a limited-time rewards campaign that gives free cosmetics through Twitch Drops, TikTok codes, and Creator Drops. Rocket League ties the campaign to the RLCS Kick-Off Studio LAN and the next season start, so it doubles as an esports hype push and a fast way to add more Rocket League cars to your garage. Please be reminded that, unfortunately, most of them are not rare items.

What Rocket League Drop Rush includes

    Drop Rush has three tracks:

    • Twitch Drops: Earn items via cumulative watch time on eligible Rocket League streams.
    • TikTok Drops: Receive in-app codes after specific actions or watch-time milestones on TikTok.
    • Creator Drops: Redeem creator-shared codes during the season for a Drop that can range from Sport Drops to Black Market Drops.

How Rocket League Drop Rush works

Twitch and TikTok count time cumulatively, so you can split viewing across sessions. Twitch requires an Epic Games and Twitch account link. TikTok and Creator rewards require code redemption inside Rocket League.

Rocket League Drop Rush Twitch Drops, schedule and rewards

Rocket League sets three Twitch windows, plus a separate final-day block on December 7. The official announcement lists times in PT.

Window 1: Kick-Off Studio LAN (Dec 5, 7 AM PT to Dec 7, 6 PM PT)

    • 30 min: Apex Wheels (Black)
    • 1 hour: Tactical Nuke Goal Explosion (Cobalt)
    • 2 hours: Tactical Nuke Goal Explosion (Crimson)
    • 3 hours: Nemesis Car Body (Burnt Sienna)
    • 4 hours: Nemesis Car Body (Crimson)
    • 5 hours: Nemesis Car Body (Sky Blue)

This block counts on the official Rocket League Twitch channel or affiliated co-streams.

    • 1 hour: Tactical Nuke Goal Explosion (Black)
    • 2 hours: Tactical Nuke Goal Explosion (Titanium White)
    • 3 hours: Nemesis Car Body (Grey)

    • 30 min: Rival Wheels
    • 1 hour: Aero Mage Wheels
    • 2 hours: Patriarch Pro Wheels
    • 3 hours: Big Splash Goal Explosion
    • 4 hours: Picture This Wheels
You can still get your Rival Wheels and other rewards until January 5 (Image Credit: Rocket League)

In this season window, Rocket League also grants a random painted variant after each additional 30 minutes of watch time, except for Patriarch Pro Wheels, until you reach 5.5 hours.

    Before you start: Quick checklist

    • An Epic Games account that you use for Rocket League.
    • A Twitch account for Twitch Drops.
    • A TikTok account and the TikTok app for TikTok Drops.
    • Access to Rocket League’s Redeem Code menu for TikTok and Creator codes.

Rocket League Drop Rush TikTok Drops: Codes and bundles

TikTok Drops run from Dec 5, 7 AM PT to Jan 5, 12 AM PT and deliver in-app codes that you redeem in Rocket League.

    • Bundle 1: Claim from the Rocket League Game Details page: LFT Topper, Ninja Wheels, Dune Racer Decal, Picture This Wheels.
    • Bundle 2: Watch 3 cumulative minutes on any Rocket League stream with Game Rewards: Big Splash Goal Explosion, Aero Mage Wheels, Ballistic Goal Explosion.
    • Bundle 3: Watch 15 cumulative minutes on any Rocket League stream with Game Rewards: Big Splash Goal Explosion (Black), Apex Wheels (Titanium White).

Rocket League Drop Rush Creator drops

When the next season begins, Rocket League gives codes to Rocket League creators on Twitch and YouTube. Creators share these codes across the season, and each code redeems into a Drop tier that can reach Black Market Drops.

How to participate in Rocket League Drop Rush

Here are three steps you can take to participate in the Rocket League Drop Drush event:

    1. Link Epic Games and Twitch for Fan Rewards: Open Rocket League Competitive and select “Link Now,” then sign in and authorize the Twitch connection. Epic support confirms this link as the requirement for Twitch Drops.
    2. Watch eligible Twitch streams and claim Drops: During the main windows, watch any stream in the Rocket League category. During the final-day block, watch the Rocket League channel or eligible co-streams. Claim each completed Drop in Twitch Drops once Twitch marks it complete.
    3. Redeem TikTok and Creator codes in Rocket League: Launch Rocket League, open Settings, select Extras, select Redeem Code, then enter the code exactly as printed, with dashes and no extra spaces.

If Twitch progress stays at zero, confirm the Epic-Twitch link and confirm that you watch within the correct window. If Twitch shows a reward as complete, claim it before you expect the item in-game. For code errors, re-enter the code with correct dashes and use the Settings → Extras → Redeem Code menu.

How to maximize Rocket League Drop Rush rewards

Esports viewers should prioritize the December 5–7 windows because they include multiple Nemesis paints and Tactical Nuke variants. Players who prefer short sessions can target TikTok’s 3-minute and 15-minute milestones. Creator Drops fit long-term fans, so redeem each creator code soon after it appears.

I started writing here in 2021, but my first gig was back in 2018. That was when I realized people actually get paid to write about games. I’ve written thousands of articles for different media outlets, led teams, and conducted interviews with players.

When I’m not behind the keyboard, I’m watching Galatasaray, following the NBA, or pretending I’m still good at basketball. I also work full-time at AnyDesk, writing serious things in not-so-serious ways.
