The trees are easy to recognize because they have dark bark and branches that split apart. Unlike other trees, which are lighter, Mahogany trees stand out.

Players use Mahogany mainly for crafting. It’s an important resource that lets you make everything from simple tools to complex weapons.

How to find Mahogany in LEGO Fortnite

First things first, you need to know what to look for. If you know what to look for, the rest is just chopping and similar stuff. These trees are all over the Lost Isles, except on the beaches. To start gathering Mahogany, you first need to get a Forest Axe from Haven. With this axe, you can chop down the trees.

Look for trees with dark, split branches. These are the Mahogany trees. Chopping them down doesn’t take much effort. Each tree is divided into sections, and you usually get 10 to 15 pieces of Mahogany Wood from each section. This makes it easy to collect a lot of Mahogany quickly.

After you collect the wood, you can use it at the Crafting Bench. Here, you can make different weapons and tools from the Mahogany Wood. This is a great way to improve your equipment in the game.

Once you have some Mahogany, you’ll need to process it at a Lumber Mill to turn it into Mahogany Rods. These rods are essential for making many different items on your crafting bench. Mahogany lets you make both basic and advanced items, depending on your needs in the game.
Here are some useful things you can make with Mahogany:

  • Explorer's Machete (Uncommon): This weapon isn’t very strong, but it's fast. It’s good for quickly dealing with weaker enemies. You need 3 Red Rocks, 1 Mahogany Rod, and 1 Cord to make it.
  • Throwing Spear (Uncommon): This is an affordable weapon. It doesn’t cost much and is easy to make. You need 3 Red Rocks and 4 Mahogany Rods.
  • Boom Shield (Uncommon): This shield helps protect you. To make it, you need 4 Mahogany, 3 Red Rock Slabs, 1 Dynamite, and 1 Bear Pelt.
  • Knockback Shield (Rare): This is a stronger shield. It requires 3 Mahogany Rods, 1 Bear Pelt, and 1 Brute Scale.
  • Flint-Knock Pistol (Uncommon) and Pirate Musket (Uncommon): These are powerful guns that help in fights. The Flint-Knock Pistol needs 3 Red Rocks, 1 Mahogany Rod, 1 Cord, and 1 Blast Powder. The Pirate Musket needs 5 Red Rocks, 2 Mahogany Rods, 1 Drawstring, and 1 Blast Powder.
