Fortnite never stops bringing new features and items to the game. One of the latest additions is Magneto Power. If you are a Marvel fan who loves playing Fortnite, you will definitely enjoy this power and all the quests and rewards it brought to the game. Here is everything you need to know about Magneto Power in Fortnite, how to find it, how to use it, quests, rewards and all!

How to find Magneto Power in Fortnite

There are a couple of ways to find Magneto Power in the game. You might find it by luck in chests spread around the island or at named locations. But there's a more reliable spot to get this power: Brawler’s Battleground. At this location, you can meet a character named Wastelander Magneto. If you have 400 Gold Bars, you can buy Magneto Power from him. It's important to know that this item appears only once per match at this location, so you need to get there first. Almost all Fortnite bosses give rewards, so does Magneto!

How to use Magneto Power in Fortnite

When you get Magneto Power, you can do two main things with it. By pressing the right trigger, you can float in the air for a short time and then shoot a powerful ball of metal and energy. This attack can deal a lot of damage to enemies. You can store up to five of these attacks at a time. Each one needs about 5-6 seconds to be ready again.

The left trigger activates a metal shield in front of you. This shield can take some damage from enemies before it breaks. Using Magneto Power also involves completing several quests in the game. These include hitting parked cars with the power, flying through the air, and fighting enemies using Magneto Power.

    FAQs

Is Magneto’s Power Mythic in Fortnite?

No, Magneto’s Power is not classified as a Mythic item in Fortnite. It is a Rare Utility Item that grants players the signature abilities of the X-Men character Magneto. While it is extremely powerful, it does not fall into the Mythic tier like some other high-end weapons or items. Players can equip it to access unique offensive and defensive capabilities, making it highly sought after in matches despite its rarity.

Is Magneto Power in Fortnite good?

Yes, Magneto Power is very effective. It provides both offensive and defensive advantages. Offensively, players can throw metal shards to deal significant damage to opponents and vehicles. Defensively, the magnetic shield protects against incoming attacks, including bullets and vehicle collisions. The shield can also knock back vehicles, giving players control of the battlefield. Additionally, the power grants low gravity effects while equipped, allowing higher jumps and immunity to fall damage. This versatility makes it a strong choice for aggressive and strategic playstyles alike.

How do you counter Magneto gloves in Fortnite?

Countering Magneto Power requires planning and movement. Engaging in close-range combat can limit the effectiveness of the gloves since the Magneto user has less time to aim and deploy attacks. Maintaining high mobility, using cover, and dodging incoming metal shards is key. Disruptive tactics such as explosives or rapid-fire weapons can interrupt the user’s actions. Staying unpredictable and attacking from different angles helps minimize the effectiveness of the magnetic abilities. Teams can also coordinate to focus fire and overwhelm the Magneto user before they can react effectively.

I started writing here in 2021, but my first gig was back in 2018. That was when I realized people actually get paid to write about games. I’ve written thousands of articles for different media outlets, led teams, and conducted interviews with players.

When I’m not behind the keyboard, I’m watching Galatasaray, following the NBA, or pretending I’m still good at basketball. I also work full-time at AnyDesk, writing serious things in not-so-serious ways.
