The Fortnite Five Gun is one of the most unique crossover weapons added to the game. Introduced during Fortnite’s Simpsons event, this weapon quickly gained attention with the Deodorant Applicator. Many players also search for it under its alternate name, Fortnite Moe’s Gun, since it comes from Moe Szyslak’s famous “five guns in one” gag from The Simpsons.

What is Fortnite Five Gun, aka Moe's 5 Gun?

The Five Gun is a hybrid Fortnite weapon that mixes two different firing styles. It shoots a strong shotgun blast on the first shot and then switches into a rapid-fire spray similar to an SMG when you keep holding the trigger. This makes the weapon effective in close-range fights and usable at mid-range, though it is not designed for long-distance battles.

Here are the main characteristics of the Fortnite Five Gun:

    • It fires a shotgun burst first, followed by fast automatic bullets.
    • It works well in close and medium range, especially inside buildings or tight spaces.
    • It appears in Epic and Legendary rarities.
    • It fits best as an aggressive, push-style weapon.

Because the weapon fires two different types of shots, it can feel unusual at first. The shotgun burst hits hard, but the automatic follow-up shots require good tracking. Players who enjoy fast, high-pressure fights usually get the most value from it.

How to get Fortnite Five Gun

The biggest question players ask is how to actually find Moe's 5 Gun. Since it is tied to an event, it does not drop everywhere, and the rarity can make it harder to obtain. Here are the most reliable ways to get the Fortnite Five Gun:

    1. Find Moe's 5 Gun in standard chests

One of the simplest ways to gett the Five Gun is through normal loot chests. Because the weapon comes in Epic or Legendary rarity, it has a lower drop chance, but it can appear in regular chests around the map.

    2. Loot floor drops

The Five Gun can sometimes appear as ground loot. This is less common, but still possible. Landing in areas with many buildings and high loot density increases the chances.

    3. Open event mystery boxes

During the Simpsons event, special Mystery Boxes spawn around the map. These boxes often have higher-quality loot and give a solid chance of dropping Fortnite Moe’s Gun.

If these boxes are still active in your current season, they are one of the best ways to secure the weapon.

    4. Claim it from supply drops

Supply Drops have a higher rate of Epic and Legendary items. This makes them a strong source for the Fortnite Five Gun. If you hear a Supply Drop coming down, go for Moe's 5 Gun, just be prepared to fight other players who want the same loot.

How to use Fortnite Moe's 5 Gun

Once you find the Five Gun, you need to know how to use it effectively:

    • Open with the shotgun blast for maximum damage.
    • Push aggressively once the spray begins, since the follow-up bullets work best when you close the distance.
    • Pair the weapon with a long-range rifle or sniper, since the Five Gun is not good for far-range fights.
    • Use it for building push fights, box fights, or indoor engagements where movement is restricted.

Because of the hybrid fire mode, you can surprise enemies who expect a normal shotgun shot. The rapid-fire burst after your first shot can overwhelm opponents quickly.

The Fortnite Five Gun, also known as Fortnite Moe’s Gun, is one of the most creative crossover weapons Fortnite has introduced. Its mixed firing style, event-themed origin, and strong close-range power make it a standout choice during the season. Whether you’re chasing wins or collecting all crossover items, this weapon is worth trying.
