It's called the Match Flames puzzle, and it's hidden in ancient temples in the jungle. This puzzle is a fun brain teaser that gives you a chance to unlock secret rooms that will give you loot and help you level up. 

There are two things you need to know: where the temples are that you need to go to and how to solve the Fortnite Match Flames puzzle. In this guide, we will help you out with both. In the first part, you will see information about this puzzle and where to find the temples. In the last part, you will see how to solve the Fortnite Match Flames puzzle in all three temples.

What is the Fortnite Match Flames puzzle?

While playing Fortnite, you might stumble upon an ancient temple rich with the promise of treasure. The Match Flames puzzle is exactly that, a quest within Fortnite that challenges you to align the state of various braziers to unlock hidden rooms. First, you must gain entry to the temple by sacrificing a high-value item. Then, you must adjust braziers, some ablaze with purple flames and others unlit, to mirror their arrangement in a secretive part of the temple. Where to find temples for the Match Flames puzzle?

The adventure starts in Fortnite's jungle biome, where two hidden temples are waiting for you. The first one is called the Hidden Temple, tucked away northwest of Creeky Compound. The second, known as the Southern Temple, is on the edge of the jungle, southeast of Rumble Ruins. Then you have the third ruin and the northern one. IT is obviously in the north compared to the southern. It is pretty easy to find these ruins, or temples some say.

Each temple has its own set of flame puzzles for you to solve. Many players are able to find these ruins but they are stuck at solving puzzles. How to solve the Match Flames puzzle in Fortnite

Each temple has its puzzle to solve, involving the matching of flames. 

Let's break down the solutions for each temple.

Hidden Ruins

Close to Creeky Compound, you'll find the Hidden Ruin. To enter, you must offer an item that matches the color glow of the door's offering bowl, potentially sacrificing something valuable. Beyond the first door, another challenge awaits, demanding an item of Legendary rarity or higher.

The heart of the puzzle lies in a room with a cryptic message about matching flames, where you'll find four braziers, some lit and some not. The trick is to adjust these braziers to match those in a concealed room below, accessed by revisiting the area near the second door. Once you've matched the braziers correctly, the treasure vault opens, revealing its riches.

Southern Ruins

The Southern Ruins are hidden southeast of Rumble Ruins. Similar to the Hidden Ruin, entry requires an item sacrifice at the door. Inside, a room filled with braziers and a puzzle await. The solution involves matching these braziers to those on the temple's second floor, accessible via the Ascender.

After observing the arrangement of the second floor's braziers, adjust the ones on the first floor accordingly. Success in this task opens the door to the treasure vault, rewarding your efforts.
