Who is Morgan Myst in Fortnite?

Morgan Myst is a character as well as an Epic Outfit that players can unlock by getting all the items on Page 13 of the Battle Pass. She also has extra styles. Firebird Morgan Myst becomes available on Page 14, and Darkfire Morgan Myst can be unlocked from Page 5 of Bonus Rewards. Morgan Myst has different looks in other Fortnite modes. For example in LEGO Fortnite, she appears as a LEGO minifigure.

Morgan Myst can be found at Supernova Academy. She gives out quests that help players progress through the season’s story. She is part of the Shadow Heroine set, and her quests offer 30,000 XP for each stage completed. Players should focus on completing all of them if they want to rank up faster and follow the full storyline.

All Morgan Myst quests and how to complete them

The Morgan Myst quests are split into multiple steps. Each one gives XP and unlocks new parts of the story. Below is a full list of quests and how to complete them:

    1. Hit Hero Practice Targets at Different Hero Training Outposts

    • Shoot 3 Hero Practice Targets in one match.
    • Targets appear in these locations:
      • Hill near Utopia City
      • West of the Resistance Base
      • South of Foxy Floodgate
      • Hill near geysers southeast of Pumped Power
      • Near the south gate of Supernova Academy
    • Use any weapon to shoot the targets. Do this in one match. If you leave or die, the targets may disappear.

    2. Prove Your Mettle in the Hero Training Room

    1. Go to the north building of Supernova Academy.
    2. Go downstairs and find the locked door near Morgan Myst.
    3. Press the button on the wall to open the training room.
    4. You don’t need to finish the challenge, but you can pick up golden coins and shoot red targets to get extra rewards.

      • Eliminate other players
      • Survive Storm Circles
      • Destroy Spires (+250 XP)
      • Deliver Sprites to Shrines (+250 XP)
    • After reaching Rank A, pick up 3 Supernova Gear items:

      • Bass Boost
      • Tracking Visor
      • Killswitch Revolver
      • Myst Form
      • Sprites
    • You can drop and pick up the same item to count toward the quest.
    • Complete this step in the same match. If you exit, you must restart.

    4. Gather the Clues Left by the Instructors

Go to the left building at Supernova Academy.

    Find these clues:

    1. Hope’s office: Clue on the wall
    2. Jonesy’s office: Clue on the desk
    3. Back-left conference room: Final clue
    4. Take the clues to the chalkboard in the north building near the Weapon-O-Matic. Interact with the board to finish the step.

    2. Collect all the surveillance gear to finish this task.

    Other Supernova Academy Quests

The tasks you see below are linked to Morgan Myst and offer more XP.

Damage Opponents Within 5 Seconds of Using Supernova Gear

      • Northwest of First Order Base

      • Southwest of Shining Span
      • Northwest of Lonewolf Lair
      • Near Shiny Shafts
      • Watch what the proxy does (jump or crouch), then copy it.

    Check in With Morgan Myst

Why can’t I complete Morgan Myst quests in Fortnite?

Many players face issues while doing Morgan Myst quests. Epic Games confirmed two bugs. The first affects the quest where you hit Hero Practice Targets. The second affects the quest where you collect instructor clues. Both bugs happen if you leave the match or get eliminated before finishing the task.

When this happens, the quest gets stuck. You may no longer see targets or clues, and your progress may not be counted. The best way to avoid this is to complete the quest steps in one match without leaving early. If the quest breaks, restart the match and try again.

Epic Games is working on a fix and plans to solve the issue in a future update. Until then, be sure to complete each stage in one match and check for quest progress before leaving the game.
