Guide to League of Legends Partner Program
Riot’s creator ecosystem evolvesThe League of Legends Partner Program is officially entering a new phase in 2026, and for creators, this is a major opportunity.
After years of limited access and closed testing, Riot Games is reopening applications for its creator partner programs. This includes League of Legends, alongside VALORANT and Teamfight Tactics (TFT). For League creators specifically, the League of Legends Partner Program opens applications in September 2026, giving both established and up-and-coming creators a direct path to official Riot partnership.
If you stream League, create YouTube guides, make short-form content, or build an engaged League community, this guide covers everything you need to know.
What is the Riot Games League of Legends Partner Program?
The League of Legends Partner Program is Riot Games’ official creator support program for League-focused content creators.
Many players remember Riot’s original League Partner Program (LPP). That program was paused years ago while Riot worked on a larger creator ecosystem that could support creators across multiple games. Riot first tested this new system through a closed beta, and now the company is expanding it through open applications.
Starting in September 2026, creators can directly apply to join the League of Legends Partner Program.
Riot has stated clearly: you do not need a massive audience to be accepted. The company wants both established creators and rising creators who have strong communities and genuine passion for the game.
League of Legends Partner Program benefits
The League of Legends Partner Program benefits go far beyond recognition. Riot is offering practical creator tools, direct support, audience growth opportunities, and exclusive access that can help both small and established creators scale faster.
League of Legends Partner Program requirements
To join the League of Legends Partner Program, Riot looks at three core requirements.
League of Legends Partner Program application date
The first public application window for the League of Legends Partner Program is:
- September 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026
This is Riot’s initial open application period, and it will stay live for roughly one month.
Riot has also confirmed that applications will return in future cycles, though no future dates have been announced.
How to apply for the LoL Partner Program
When the applications are open:
- Apply via Creator Hub: Riot will open applications September 1–30, 2026
- Prepare your creator links: Include Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, X, or community pages
- Submit your application: Fill out Riot’s application form and wait for review
- If not accepted, apply later: Riot confirmed future application windows will open again

Who cannot apply?
One important note: At this time, Riot confirmed that the League of Legends Partner Program does not include cosplayers or community artists.
However, Riot says it is actively exploring ways to support both groups in the future.
The new League of Legends Partner Program is Riot’s biggest creator initiative yet. It is designed for creators with passion for League, positive community influence, and engaged audiences, not just giant follower counts.
If you consistently create quality League content and have built a real community, this is one of the best opportunities Riot has offered creators in years.
