Best 9mm Daemon loadout for Warzone & MW3
Guaranteed to make do your best Lara Croft impression (especially when your loadout includes the Akimbo attachment!), the 9mm Daemon may not be one of the best guns in Warzone, but it’s still a reliable, badass little beaut.
Based on the real-world Staccato 2011, the fast-firing 9mm Daemon has never climbed super high in the Warzone gun meta. Still, this peppy spitfire of a tactical handgun is still a solid B-tier well worth the effort of crafting an epic build for.

How do you unlock the 9mm Daemon?
You’ve got a couple of options for unlocking the 9mm Daemon. Either bag yourself 15 operator headshot kills with pistols, or extract from the DMZ game mode with the weapon in your inventory.
Or, if you drop into DMZ with a friend who’s already unlocked the Daemon, you can take the unlock shortcut. Just get them to drop their 9mm, pick it up, and extract to add it to your arsenal faster than you can say “Stay Frosty”.
Your friend will keep theirs, and you’ll have a Daemon of your very own.
What is the best 9mm Daemon loadout in Warzone?

One thing there’s absolutely no wiggle room on in this build is the Akimbo rear grip. You wouldn’t catch Lara legging it around with a single pistol, so don’t you do it either. When you rock up with dual-wield 9 mils, especially with the rest of this loadout, you’ll have enemies running for cover.
The SA Longfire cranks up the Daemon’s lethality by upping the gun’s damage range, bullet velocity, and hip-fire accuracy (an absolute must with the Akimbo grip!). Since we’re going akimbo, a laser is pretty essential…
The FJX laser made the cut for us, but you could easily swap this out for something like the 1MW pistol laser and get on just gravy.
From where we’re sitting, the main question mark hangs over the 9mm High Velocity ammo. Some Warzone players swear by this, others rage against it, insisting on a loadout with something like the Rapid 30 trigger action or the DEX8 Trigger, for a better TTK.
We’re not here to tell you to follow this Daemon loadout to the letter though. We’re just here to help you get a build that you can unleash hell with.
Perks and equipment
Yes, this is one of those rare times where Overkill isn’t in our perk selections. Bomb Squad will serve you well as a replacement, giving you a thicker skin to weather non-killstreak explosions… but really, this perk choice depends on what your primary is. You may still want Overkill, depending on that.
But, since we’ve given you a total beast-mode 9mm Daemon loadout, we don’t think you’ll need to rely on your primary as much. Especially not with Double Time keeping you swift around the map, and Fast Hands there to support your weapon switch and equipment uses.
We find semtex and smokes work nicely with a 9mm rinse, but as always, your lethal and tac equipment really is more often than not about personal preference.
