The Fortnite April Fools 2025 quests are finally here. Epic Games launched a fun and short event for April Fools’ Day 2025. The event brings new quests that change the usual Fortnite experience. Instead of winning matches or collecting weapons, these quests ask players to do the opposite. The goal is to have fun and earn XP at the same time, but for a limited time. Here is everything you need to know about the latest Fortnite update!

What is the Fortnite April Fools 2025 about?

The Fortnite April Fools 2025 event brings a short list of quests that are different from the usual ones. Instead of asking players to win fights or survive for a long time, these quests ask them to do unexpected things. For example, one quest gives XP for losing a match instead of winning it. Another reward is for players breaking chests instead of opening them. These quests are part of Chapter 6 Season 2 and can be found in the Quests Tab.

All quests are available in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes. The tasks are easy to complete, and most of them take only a few minutes. However, the event only lasts for a short time.

All Fortnite April Fools 2025 quests and how to complete them

This year, for the Fortnite April Fools 2025 event, Epic Games brought eight new quests, each giving 2,000 XP to the player. Here is a list of all eight quests in the event:

    • Place Anything But First
    • Break Open Chests Instead of Searching Them
    • Touch Grass
    • Drive Safely on the Road for 100 Meters
    • Land Over Here and Over There
    • Find the Coolest Player on the Island
    • Collect Non-Fish From Fishing
    • Survive Seconds Before Collecting Any Weapons in a Match

Below is a table with simple instructions for each quest:

    Quest

    How to Complete

    Place Anything But First

Enter a match and avoid winning. You must place second or lower to complete the quest. If you win the match, it won’t count.

Break Open Chests Instead of Searching Them

Use your pickaxe to destroy three chests. Do not open them the normal way. Just break them with your pickaxe until they disappear.

    Touch Grass

Walk or run on grassy ground for a total of 60 seconds. You can do this across multiple matches. You do not need to do it all at once.

Drive Safely on the Road for 100 Meters

Drive a vehicle on a paved road for 100 meters. Do not crash into anything. Stay on the road and avoid other players or objects.

Land Over Here and Over There

Land on opposite sides of the map in two different matches. For example, land in the west side in one match and in the east side in the next.

Find the Coolest Player on the Island

Find a mirror in the game and look into it. One good spot is the Brutal Boxcars station, which has mirrors in the bathrooms.

    Collect Non-Fish From Fishing

Use a fishing rod and catch anything that is not a fish. This can include weapons or items. Fishing spots work best for this quest.

Survive Seconds Before Collecting Any Weapons in a Match

After landing, wait two minutes before picking up any weapons. You can hide or land in quiet areas to avoid enemies during this time.

All Fortnite April Fools 2025 rewards

Players can earn a total of 46,000 XP by completing all quests and bonus goals. Each of the eight main quests gives 2,000 XP, adding up to 16,000 XP. Bonus rewards give extra XP based on how many quests you complete.

Here is a breakdown of the bonus rewards:

    • Complete 1 quest: 10,000 XP
    • Complete 3 quests: 10,000 XP
    • Complete 5 quests: 10,000 XP

If you finish all eight quests and unlock all bonus rewards, you receive 46,000 XP. This is a quick way to level up your Battle Pass.

These quests were only available until April 2, 2025, at 8 AM EDT. After that time, they disappeared from the game. You must have completed them before the deadline to receive any rewards. If you miss this event, don’t worry, there are many more on the way. Make sure you follow Fortnite and THESPIKEGG for the latest Fortnite news!

When I’m not behind the keyboard, I’m watching Galatasaray, following the NBA, or pretending I’m still good at basketball. I also work full-time at AnyDesk, writing serious things in not-so-serious ways.
