The Star Wars Fortnite Creative library has evolved from limited-time events into a fully customizable universe inside UEFN. Whether you want to explore epic fan-made galaxies, enter map codes, or even build your own Star Wars island, this guide covers everything in detail.

First of all, what is UEFN in Fortnite?

Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), also known as Creative 2.0, is a powerful tool that allows players to build advanced Fortnite experiences.

    • Built on Unreal Engine 5
    • Supports custom scripting (Verse)
    • Advanced graphics, animations, and effects
    • Ability to publish playable maps

UEFN essentially combines game development tools with Fortnite assets, enabling creators to design full-scale games.

With the latest updates, UEFN now includes official Star Wars items.

    Star Wars Fortnite Creative library

Star Wars Fortnite Creative is a new system where players and developers can create their own Star Wars islands using Fortnite Creative and Unreal Editor for Fortnite.

For the first time, Epic Games has released a complete Star Wars toolset inside Fortnite. This includes:

    • Official Star Wars characters
    • Weapons and vehicles
    • Locations and environments
    • Gameplay systems and templates

Unlike older Fortnite events, this is not limited-time content.

Instead, Star Wars Fortnite Creative lets you:

    • Create custom Star Wars maps
    • Design your own game modes
    • Mix different Star Wars elements freely

Fortnite UEFN guide: How to create your own Star Wars map

Starting May 1, creators can officially build and publish Star Wars Fortnite Creative maps using Unreal Editor for Fortnite.

    To publish your map:

    • You must join the Fortnite Developer Program
    • Accept Star Wars terms in the Creator Portal
    • If you’ve published other IP maps (like Squid Game or The Walking Dead), you’re already eligible

There are also a few important rules:

    • 20% of your engagement payout goes to Disney
    • You can convert existing maps into Star Wars maps in UEFN
    • All maps must follow Star Wars Brand Rules
    • No in-island purchases are allowed

This gives you access to a full set of Star Wars tools, assets, and gameplay systems inside Fortnite. After then,

    • Install UEFN and start a project
    • Choose a starter map (Hoth, Tatooine, Nevarro, or Space)
    • Add Star Wars assets (characters, weapons, vehicles)
    • Set up gameplay (PvP, story, or roleplay)
    • Customize lightsabers and Force powers
    • Test and publish via Creator Portal

Epic provides official guides to help you build:

    • Lightsabers and Force Powers
    • Team Conquest systems
    • Narrative and Roleplay maps

So, how to play Star Wars in Fortnite

Sometimes Fortnite runs limited-time Star Wars events:

    • Special quests and NPCs
    • Star Wars weapons like lightsabers
    • Unique gameplay features

These appear in the main game modes when active.

The easiest way to play Star Wars in Fortnite is by using map codes or the Discover search. With new tools and maps being added, Fortnite is becoming a full platform for Star Wars experiences—not just events.
