The Fortnite Take Parts to Hope quest has become one of the most confusing tasks in the current season. Many players are unsure where to find Hope, how to deliver the parts, or why the interaction does not work at all. This Fortnite guide explains everything clearly: what the quest requires, where to complete it, and why so many players are stuck.

What is Fortnite Take Parts to Hope quest?

The quest appears after completing earlier steps in the storyline, usually right after collecting or interacting with a Zero Point Shard. Once these actions are finished, the next stage tells you to “Take Parts to Hope.” The idea behind the quest is simple: find specific in-game parts and give them to an NPC named Hope.

The intention is straightforward. You gather the required items, locate Hope, talk to her, and hand them over. Completing this step should move the storyline forward and reward you with XP. But for many players, the quest does not behave as expected.

Where to find Hope in Fortnite to complete the Take Parts to Hope quest

To finish the Fortnite Take Parts to Hope objective, you must go to a fixed location on the map. Hope can be found at: Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

    • Located in the northeastern section of the map
    • Easy to spot due to the large cooling towers
    • Usually safe enough to approach, depending on the match

When you arrive, Hope is inside or near the central building. The quest marker highlights her position, so she is not hard to find. Once you get close, the game should give you a standard NPC dialogue option. Under normal circumstances, there would be a button to “Give Parts to Hope.”

Is Fortnite Take Parts to Hope quest not working?

The biggest issue with the Fortnite Take Parts to Hope quest is that, for many players, the option to give the parts simply does not appear. This is a known bug affecting a large number of people.

    Common symptoms include:

    • You arrive at Hope, but no interaction shows up.
    • You talk to her, but the dialogue has no button to deliver the parts.
    • The quest does not progress even if you try again in another match.
    • Restarting sometimes works, but often it doesn’t.

This means the quest is not failing because of the player, but because of a technical issue inside the current game version. The bug is inconsistent—some players complete it with no trouble, while others cannot progress no matter what they try.

Need some hope? Here are some workarounds to fix it

While there is no guaranteed fix yet, several players have tried different steps with mixed results. You can test them, as some people say they helped:

    • Close the game fully and reopen it—not just return to the lobby.
    • A full reboot has helped some players trigger the missing dialogue option.
    • Some users claimed that re-doing the shard interaction or previous quest stage forced the game to recognize the next step.
    • Enter a fresh match instead of continuing in the same one.

Again, none of these are guaranteed. The core issue is on Epic Games’ end, and many players are waiting for an official patch. When a hotfix or update arrives, the Fortnite Take Parts to Hope objective should start working normally.

In the meantime, players can continue completing other quests and challenges without losing rewards.
