Riot Games introduced Brawl as a fast-paced and simple mode in League of Legends. Unlike normal matches, Brawl focuses only on fighting. The goal is to pick champions that deal damage quickly and win short, chaotic fights. We compiled a complete League of Legends Brawl tier list for you, going over which champion you should favor in this mode!

What is Brawl in League of Legends?

Brawl is a new 5v5 Team Deathmatch mode introduced in League of Legends. Unlike classic game modes, Brawl is all about fighting from start to finish. Each team begins with 250 total health. The goal is to bring your opponent’s health to zero. You do this by killing enemy champions, pushing minions into their portal, or clearing minion waves.

Each kill deals 5 damage, while each minion kill or portal push deals 1 damage. Gold is gained passively, and jungle camps give strong buffs. Matches are short, usually around 10 minutes, with no turrets or towers in play.

League of Legends Brawl Tier List: Best champions

Here is our League of Legends Brawl tier list, starting from the best champions that you can pick to the worst one:

    S+ Tier (Game-Changers, Must-Picks)

    Jinx

Jinx is the strongest champion in Brawl. Her rockets deal high area damage, and her passive gives her speed after every kill. This helps her chase and clean up fights. She also controls grouped enemies with her traps and ultimate. When one fight goes her way, she can take over the whole game.

    Fiddlesticks

Fiddlesticks works well in tight spaces. His ultimate can hit many enemies at once. His fear controls fights, and his healing lets him stay alive. The small map helps him surprise enemies from bushes. He is a strong pick when your team needs magic damage and crowd control.

    Ziggs

Ziggs is a long-range mage with strong poke and wave clear. He can deal damage safely from far away. His bombs control the map, and his ultimate can change teamfights. He also clears minions fast, which helps reduce enemy health. Ziggs fits well in most teams.

    Miss Fortune

Miss Fortune deals heavy damage with her ultimate. Her early game is strong, and she clears waves quickly. She is best in fights where enemies group up. Her damage is easy to land, and she can lead her team with just one good ultimate.

S Tier (Consistent Carries, Strong in All Scenarios)

    Viktor

Viktor gets stronger faster in Brawl. He upgrades his abilities early and deals huge area damage. His stun and ultimate help control teamfights. He is a strong carry who can deal magic damage and zone enemies at the same time.

    Shaco

Shaco uses his boxes and stealth to slow down enemies. His traps deal damage and control space. He confuses the enemy team and creates chances to win. Shaco works best when you play smart and use the map to your advantage.

    Naafiri

Naafiri is fast, aggressive, and hard to stop. Her damage is high, and her dogs deal constant pressure. She can dive into fights and pick off weak targets. Her tools help her chase enemies and take control early.

    Darius

Darius is strong in small areas. His passive stacks quickly, and his ultimate resets when he gets kills. He can carry fights by himself if he survives early damage. Darius punishes teams that cannot deal with his pressure.

A Tier (Strong, but Comp Needs Consideration)

    Viego

Viego gets stronger with each kill. He takes over enemy champions’ bodies and gains new abilities. In Brawl, fights happen often, so he can reset more. He is strong when your team gets early kills, but weaker if the enemy survives.

    Lulu

Lulu protects her allies and controls the enemy. She gives shields, slows, and a big health boost with her ultimate. She helps her carry stay alive and makes it hard for assassins to kill them. Lulu is great in team-based fights.

    Swain

Swain heals in teamfights and pulls enemies in. He becomes harder to kill when he activates his ultimate. He punishes enemies who stay too close and helps his team last longer in fights.

    Tristana

Tristana jumps into fights and resets her jump with each kill. She deals fast damage and moves around easily. Her burst can kill squishies, and her mobility helps her survive. She’s strong when she gets going early.

B Tier (Viable, But Outshone by Meta Picks)

    Ahri

Ahri moves fast and lands charm easily in close areas. She is good at chasing or escaping. Her damage is not as strong as other mages, so she falls behind in big teamfights.

    Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank pulls one target and starts fights well. His hook can win games, but he does little after that. He is best for picks, not full fights. You need good aim to get value.

    Brand

Brand deals big area damage, but he is slow and easy to kill. If enemies group up, he shines. If they focus him first, he dies fast. He works only in the right situations.

    Lucian

Lucian trades damage fast, but he needs space to dash and reposition. Brawl gives him little room to move, so he falls behind late. He can work, but better ADCs exist.

C Tier (Niche or Counter Pick Territory)

    Kai’Sa

Kai’Sa deals a lot of damage late, but she starts slow. In Brawl, slow scaling is risky. She needs good teammates to protect her until she gets items.

    D Tier (Avoid Unless You're a Specialist)

    Teemo

Teemo takes too long to set up traps. He deals slow damage and does little in teamfights. His play style does not fit Brawl’s fast pace. It’s better to pick a champion with a stronger impact.

Onur Demirkol here, content writer for THESPIKEGG. I have been around for a very long time now, you may have seen me in the comments.

I started writing here in 2021, but my first gig was back in 2018. That was when I realized people actually get paid to write about games. I’ve written thousands of articles for different media outlets, led teams, and conducted interviews with players.

When I’m not behind the keyboard, I’m watching Galatasaray, following the NBA, or pretending I’m still good at basketball. I also work full-time at AnyDesk, writing serious things in not-so-serious ways.
