Fortnite Sprite rarity breakdown
Sprites are divided into four rarity tiers:
The three Mythic Sprites are currently the hardest to obtain, while Zero Point Sprite, Grim Reaper Sprite, and TheBurntPeanut Sprite are widely considered the rarest companions in the game.
Variant checklist
Most Sprites have four collectible versions:
- ☐ Base
- ☐ Gold
- ☐ Gummy
- ☐ Galaxy
The only exception is TheBurntPeanut Sprite, which currently only has its standard version available. Gold, Gummy, and Galaxy variants are much rarer than their base counterparts and count separately toward your collection.
Best Sprites to prioritize
If you're wondering which Sprites are worth extracting first, these are among the strongest:
- Demon Sprite: Excellent for aggressive players thanks to its Health and Shield siphon.
- Dream Sprite: Generates free loot as it levels up.
- TheBurntPeanut Sprite: Great for farming high-tier loot from eliminations.
- Boss Sprite: Provides additional maximum Health and Shield for every fight.
- Zero Point Sprite: One of the best defensive Sprites thanks to its Shield Bubble Jr.
These five are considered some of the strongest Sprites currently available in Chapter 7 Season 3.
How do Sprite variants work
Almost every Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 has four collectible versions: the standard Base Sprite, plus Gold, Gummy, and Galaxy variants. These special variants are much rarer than their normal counterparts and keep the exact same passive ability as the base Sprite while adding an extra bonus of their own. They also count as separate entries in your collection, so finding a Gold or Galaxy version helps increase your collection progress.
Since these bonuses stack with the Sprite's original passive, variant Sprites are generally much more valuable than their standard versions. For example, a Gold Demon Sprite still restores Health and Shields after eliminations while also giving bonus Sprite XP, and a Galaxy Zero Point Sprite still creates a Shield Bubble Jr. whenever you heal while increasing your ammo pickups.
If you're trying to complete your collection, remember that Base, Gold, Gummy, and Galaxy versions all count separately, making variant hunting one of the biggest endgame grinds in Chapter 7 Season 3.
