Gummy Sprites are the newest collectible variants added to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, and they're quickly becoming some of the most valuable companions in the game. Unlike standard Sprites, Gummy Sprites provide an additional bonus when extracted, making them extremely useful for players farming Sprite Dust and progressing through the season's Sprite system.

However, finding Gummy Sprites isn't always easy. They don't have guaranteed spawn locations, and some variants are significantly rarer than others.

This guide covers how to find Gummy Sprites in Fortnite, where each variant spawns, what they do, and the fastest ways to farm them.

What are Gummy Sprites in Fortnite?

Gummy Sprites are special versions of existing Sprites rather than entirely new companions. Every regular Sprite now has a possible Gummy variant, including Water, Fire, Earth, Demon, Ghost, Dream, King, Punk, Duck, and Zero Point Sprites.

The biggest difference is that Gummy Sprites provide an extra reward when extracted.

    Gummy Sprite Bonus

When you successfully extract a Gummy Sprite, you receive:

    • All normal Sprite abilities
    • A 10% bonus to Sprite Dust rewards

This bonus stacks with the Sprite's regular effect, making Gummy variants more valuable than standard versions.

How to find Gummy Sprites in Fortnite

Gummy Sprites can appear naturally throughout the island, but they do not have fixed spawn points.

Instead, each variant is tied to specific areas, biomes, or loot containers.

Best ways to find Gummy Sprites

    • Search Sprite Chests
    • Open Vault Sprite Chests
    • Explore specific biomes
    • Loot storage crates
    • Defeat AI enemies carrying Sprites
    • Farm high-tier vault locations

Most players find their first Gummy Sprite from a Sprite Chest rather than through normal exploration.

Here are the best places to look for each Gummy Sprite variant.

How to get Gummy Water Sprite

The Gummy Water Sprite is most commonly found near:

    • Beaches
    • Rivers
    • Coastal regions
    • Shoreline loot routes

If you're specifically hunting this variant, focus your matches around water-heavy areas instead of inland POIs.

How to get Gummy Earth Sprite

The Gummy Earth Sprite appears more frequently in:

    • Forests
    • Dense woodland areas
    • Tree-covered sections of the map

These areas currently provide the best chance of finding Earth variants.

How to get Gummy Fire Sprite

    The Gummy Fire Sprite favors:

    • Cities
    • Urban POIs
    • High-traffic locations

Because these areas are often contested, be prepared for early-game fights.

How to get Gummy Duck Sprite

The Gummy Duck Sprite is one of the more unique variants.

    Current reports place it near:

    • Frosted Flats vaults
    • Sinister Strip vaults

Players farming these locations have reported the highest success rates.

How to get Gummy Ghost Sprite

The Gummy Ghost Sprite follows a special rule.

Instead of being tied to a location, it appears:

    • Anywhere on the map
    • During nighttime only

If you're specifically hunting Ghost variants, try playing during the map's night cycle.

How to get Gummy Demon, King, Dream, Punk, and Zero Point Sprites

The rarer Gummy variants primarily come from special loot containers.

    Gummy Demon Sprite

    Found in:

    • Sprite Chests
    • Rare Chests

    Gummy King Sprite

    Found in:

    • Sprite Chests
    • Rare Chests
    • AI enemy drops

    Gummy Dream Sprite

    Found in:

    • Storage Crates
    • Vault Sprite Chests

    Gummy Punk Sprite

    Found in:

    • High-tier Vault Sprite Chests

    Gummy Zero Point Sprite

    Found in:

    • High-tier Vault Sprite Chests only

The Gummy Zero Point Sprite is currently considered one of the rarest Sprite variants available.

Best farming route for Gummy Sprites

If you're trying to collect multiple Gummy Sprites quickly:

    Step 1

    Drop at Sinister Strip.

    Step 2

    Loot all nearby Sprite Chests.

    Step 3

    Rotate toward Heatwave Harbor.

    Step 4

Search additional Sprite Chests and vaults.

    Step 5

Extract any Gummy Sprite you find immediately.

This route currently offers one of the highest concentrations of Sprite-related loot on the island.

    How to extract Gummy Sprites

Finding a Gummy Sprite isn't enough.

To permanently benefit from it, you must successfully extract it.

    Extraction steps

    1. Find a Gummy Sprite.
    2. Carry it to an Extraction Site.
    3. Activate extraction.
    4. Defend the area.
    5. Complete the extraction timer.

You can also use a Portable Extractor if you have one available.

Are Fortnite Gummy Sprites worth farming?

Absolutely. The 10% bonus Sprite Dust reward may seem small at first, but it adds up quickly over dozens of extractions.

If you're wondering how to find Gummy Sprites in Fortnite, the best strategy is to focus on Sprite Chests, Vault Sprite Chests, and biome-specific spawn locations. Water variants appear near rivers and beaches, Earth variants favor forests, Fire variants spawn around urban areas, and rarer companions such as Gummy Dream, Gummy Punk, and Gummy Zero Point are mostly locked behind high-tier loot containers.

Since every Gummy Sprite provides an additional 10% Sprite Dust bonus on extraction, they're currently among the most valuable collectibles in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. If you're serious about leveling your Sprite collection, farming Gummy Sprites should be one of your top priorities this season.
