Fortnite Galaxy Sprites guide: Every Galaxy Sprite, locations, buffs & farming tips
You can find every Fortnite Galaxy SpriteFortnite Galaxy Sprites are among the rarest collectibles in Chapter 7 Season 3. Unlike standard Sprites, these cosmic variants provide an additional passive bonus while keeping the original ability of the base Sprite. They also count as separate collectibles in your Sprite Collection, making them essential for players aiming for 100% completion.
If you're trying to find every Galaxy Sprite, here's everything you need to know.
What are Fortnite Galaxy Sprites?
Galaxy Sprites are special variants of existing Sprites.
Every Galaxy Sprite keeps the passive ability of its original Sprite while adding an additional perk:
- +20% ammo from every ammo pickup
For example:
- A Galaxy Demon Sprite still restores Health and Shield after eliminations while also increasing every ammo pickup by 20%.
- A Galaxy Zero Point Sprite still deploys a Shield Bubble Jr. whenever you heal while giving you more ammunition throughout the match.

All Galaxy Sprites
There are currently 15 Galaxy Sprites available in Chapter 7 Season 3.
TheBurntPeanut Sprite is currently the only Sprite that does not have a Galaxy variant.
How to get Galaxy Sprites in Fortnite
Galaxy Sprites don't spawn in fixed locations.
Instead, they're rare variants that can appear from several loot sources, including:
- Sprite Chests
- Rare (Relic) Chests
- Standard Chests
- Floor loot (very rare)
- Defeated players carrying Galaxy Sprites
Higher-tier loot containers generally offer the best chance of finding them.
Best locations to farm Galaxy Sprites
Although every Galaxy Sprite is random, some appear more frequently in certain areas.
Fornite Galaxy Hour
Epic also introduced Galaxy Hour, a limited-time event where Galaxy Sprite spawn rates are significantly increased across the island. Galaxy Hour takes place twice on June 27, with each session lasting two hours. During these limited-time windows, Galaxy Sprite spawn rates are significantly increased, making it the best opportunity to hunt Galaxy variants and level up your Sprite Collection faster.
Galaxy Hour #1
Galaxy Hour #2
During both Galaxy Hour sessions, Galaxy Sprite spawn rates are greatly increased across the island. Players also receive a 2× Sprite XP multiplier, making these events the most efficient time to farm rare Galaxy variants and level up your equipped Sprites.
Best tips for farming Galaxy Sprites
Finding a Galaxy Sprite can take dozens of matches, but these tips will improve your odds:
- Prioritize Sprite Chests over normal chests.
- Loot Vaults whenever possible.
- Open every Rare (Relic) Chest you see.
- Carry a Portable Extractor so you can safely secure a Galaxy Sprite immediately.
- Play during Galaxy Hour when spawn rates are increased.
- If you're only missing one variant, consider trading with other players instead of relying entirely on RNG.
Are Galaxy Sprites worth it?
From a gameplay perspective, Galaxy Sprites aren't necessarily stronger than Gold or Gummy variants.
Their extra perk—20% additional ammo from pickups—is useful, but ammunition is rarely scarce late in a match. For many players, the biggest reason to collect Galaxy Sprites is completing the Sprite Collection rather than gaining a competitive advantage.
Rarest Galaxy Sprite
The Galaxy Zero Point Sprite is widely considered the rarest Galaxy variant currently available.
As a Mythic Sprite found primarily in high-tier Vault Sprite Chests, it has one of the lowest spawn rates in Chapter 7 Season 3 and is one of the most sought-after collectibles in the game.
