Fortnite X-Wing locations and use in Chapter 6 Season 3 (+Tie Fighters)
Confused about X-Wing locations in Chapter 6 of Fortnite? We got your back.May the Force be with you—because you’re going to need it to find those Fortnite X-Wing locations & figh with them! On May 2, 2025, Fortnite launched one of its most ambitious crossover events yet: Galactic Battle, a full-throttle Star Wars-themed season that’s taken the island by storm. From legendary characters to epic Force powers and iconic starships, this collaboration is a dream come true for fans of both franchises.
A battle across the galaxy, iconic heroes & mythic weapons
The Galactic Battle event thrusts players into an all-out war between the Resistance and the Empire. The island has transformed, now featuring key locations like the First Order Base, Resistance Base, and Outpost Enclave. These zones set the stage for dynamic showdowns, whether you’re wielding a lightsaber, blasting through squads, or taking to the skies in a TIE Fighter or X-Wing.
But the real power lies in the Force. For the first time in Fortnite, players can use Force abilities like Force Push, Force Pull, and even Force Lightning—turning the battlefield into something straight out of a Star Wars film.
On day one, players could jump into blasters-only gameplay featuring special mythic weapons such as Captain Phasma’s F-11D Blaster. But that was only the beginning.
Throughout May and early June, the crossover evolves with new characters, cosmetics, and events:
- May 8: Leia, Luke, and Han Solo join, along with new lightsaber abilities.
- May 15: Chewbacca arrives with the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster.
- May 22: Mandalorian weapons and characters debut, including the Amban Sniper Rifle and Jetpacks.
- May 29: The Star Destroyer Bombardment event lets players fire turbolasers from orbit.
- June 7: All roads lead to the Death Star Sabotage, the final showdown with Emperor Palpatine himself.

Meanwhile, the Battle Pass is packed with Star Wars-themed rewards, including Darth Jar Jar, Poe Dameron, Wookiee Team Leader, Emperor Palpatine, and later on, the sinister General Grievous. For those who enjoy watching gameplay, Twitch Drops offer exclusive items like the Galactic Duel Loading Screen and Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor Back Bling.

In Fortnite: Galactic Battle, TIE Fighters play a major role in the aerial warfare aspect of the Star Wars crossover, standing as the Imperial counterpart to the Resistance’s X-Wings. These iconic starfighters allow players to join the First Order’s ranks and dominate the skies in fast-paced dogfights.
Controls are same with the X-Wings. However, TIE Fighters offer faster maneuvering compared to X-Wings, but are more offensive in nature with rapid lasers that excel in both air and ground combat. Their mobility makes them ideal for hit-and-run tactics.
